Ivar jumped out of the bed, and spun around to see the intruder.
"Hey, I've been trying to reach you," Eli said, shutting the door behind him.
Ivar's tensed heart slowly began to settle, and from the corner of his eyes he took a glance at Angel.
She remained visibly unaffected, and it concerned him.
He personally had thought it was Ares that came into the room. And with that thought, came a readiness to lose at least a hand.
The fact she didn't look bothered had to mean she thought playing with him that way was normal.
Something Xander said to him before trickled into his head.
"With a father like Hades, she's known hardship almost all her life. When she sees kindness, genuine or not, she holds on to it firmly. Don't confuse her innocence for reciprocity. You'll only hurt yourself."
"Hey, I need to talk to you, Ivar. The blue boys came knocking." Eli said in a tone that signalled there was an emergency.
"Hello Eli," Angel smiled, and waved at him.
