Ares walked through every corner of the halls of Kolasi, and just allowed himself to breathe in the air of his home.
Per his instructions, they had ensured everyone remained indoors.
He wasn't in the mood to encounter anyone just yet.
All he wanted to do was appreciate his hard work, and the place that had made him heal.
But as he stopped in front of Angel's door, with the intention of not going through Nadia's entrance, he felt his heart stop for just a brief second.
"Get a hold of yourself," he whispered, as he opened the door, and walked into the room.
The first thing he felt was her peculiar scent.
There and then, he closed his eyes and just inhaled.
It wasn't enough for him, so he walked to her bed, and brought his nose to her sheets.
He still couldn't get enough of it. Her scent he had missed dearly.
To make things worse, he turned and saw snuggles staring directly at him.
