When Ares was a lot calmer, he was led into the room where the baby had been cleaned, and clothed.
He was given a coat, and gloves to wear before he was let in.
"She's so beautiful," Nadia said, as she held her in her hand.
Ares looked at her, and he couldn't help but smile.
"Do you want to hold her?" Nadia asked.
"I don't think I can. She looks so small," he said.
"She is. She's small, and so beautiful," Nadia laughed as she played with her tiny fingers.
He agreed silently, as he stared at her head.
She wasn't like other babies he had seen with bald heads. She had hair, and it had strands of blonde.
To his knowledge, her mother had black hair.
The only blonde he knew with also the same features as her mother, was Angel.
He turned around abruptly, and walked out of the room.
"Ares?" Nadia called after him in confusion, and made to follow him.
"You can't take the baby out just yet," one of the nurses intercepted, and stopped her from moving.
