Chapter Seventy-Three
"Nope," Markus said flatly as he picked up his phone and started scrolling through.
"Seriously, get out. I have something important to do." He was seriously not angry at him and not at Asli too but at himself.
Markus was not listening to him and he sighed. He always told him everything anyway. "Asli would be there."
Markus' phone dropped from his hands and onto his lap. His eyes widened, and the color left his face. His lips parted slightly, but no sound came.
His jaw trembled as he swallowed hard, while his gaze was fixed on Ahmet as if the words had struck him like a physical blow.
Ahmet could tell he didn't know what to say. It took him a while to utter, "Are you guys operating…"
"Operating?" He repeated while he laughed and Markus laughed too. "You should've known this was going to happen when I told you I was going to blackmail her." Ahmet pointed out.
