Harlow followed the nurse quietly through the halls till arrived before Claudia's ward. The nurse stretched her hands to reach the doorknob, but before she could, the door opened swiftly to Frank and Elisa coming out of the room.
Elisa frowned the moment she saw her stepdaughter. "You can leave now nurse." She said and the nurse bowed before leaving.
"How is she, I hurried the moment you called." Harlow licked her lips as she spoke. Even if she knew everything Claudia was doing was to gain Alanis's attention she still had to come to confront her herself.
"I can see that," Elisa said her eyes moving from Harlow's face down to her feet and then back up again. She stared at her stepdaughter like she was the most disgusting thing in the world. "You were supposed to be here long before now to take good care of your sister," Elisa said.
