"No, not like that! It needs to look perfect," Layla said, directing the decorators as they moved around the large hall, tying ribbons and transforming the space into something grand.
She moved swiftly, fixing minor errors, making sure every detail was flawless. She had promised Harlow she would make this place breathtaking, and she intended to keep that promise.
"The plates have to be gold," she reminded them firmly. "Special guests will be attending."
Time was slipping away fast. The event was in just a few hours, and if these people kept making mistakes, they would never finish on time.
What puzzled her, though, was the second room. Harlow had asked her to decorate not just this hall but another one a secret one. It was even more extravagant than the main venue, though Layla had no idea why.
