Harlow continued, unbothered. "I'm apologizing for wasting your time… at the wrong hall."
The room fell into stunned silence.
"My guards weren't informed that this is not where the event is being held," she explained, her voice smooth as silk. "This was just a try-and-fail room."
Garth's eyes widened, her carefully planned scheme crumbling before her.
Claudia's smirk faded.
Lia's fingers twitched.
The guests glanced at each other in confusion. What is really going on?
"That's a lie!" Lia snapped, her voice shaking with frustration. "This is the event hall! Who do you think you can fool, Harlow?"
Panic flared in her eyes. She knew for a fact that Harlow was lying because they had destroyed this room themselves. Harlow had no backup plan. She was bluffing. She had to be.
There's no way Harlow must have arranged or decorated another room in time.
