Brenda was the last person Harlow had expected to see when she reached the lounge. She had thought that maybe their neighbors were finally warming up to them, but she never expected to see Brenda.
She wondered what this woman was doing here. She hated the way she stared at Alanis like he was some meal she wanted to eat. No one has the right to stare at him that way except her.
Harlow's blood boiled as she stared at the woman. It's been long since she's felt this anger and jealousy for this man. Why was she suddenly feeling this way?
"Hehehe, you're very funny Mr. How can that be possible?" Harlow watched Brenda laugh cutely and it almost made her puke.
"You can go take your bath now. I'll attend to the guest." Harlow tapped Alanis's shoulder Alanis sighed in relief. He couldn't tell how much more he had to endure and pretend to be nice.
Acting nice is not him.
