Atlas remained silent, watching him with a bored expression, and said, "You're sorry."
Sebastian nods with his heart pricked by guilt and lets the emotion show in his eyes. Sebastian suddenly felt confusion since a strange smile tugged on his lips, and Atlas closed the space between them.
They were standing a couple of inches apart, and he could see a sinister glint behind his gaze.
Sebastian had a feeling that he was about to hear something he wouldn't like. He held in his breath as Atlas asked, "Do you remember when you broke my arm when she asked to break it?"
Sebastian nods, "Yes."
Atlas asked as if asking for something light, not something dark, "Can I break your arm in exchange?"
Sebastian looked at his eyes to see if he was joking; not a hint of humor was in it. Sebastian asked, "Would that make you forgive me?"
