Helicopter, Danube River
Inside the helicopter, the passengers raised their arms, shielding their eyes from the bright silver explosion that shook the chopper.
"Is the supernatural world always this intense?" Yaz asked, his voice laced with a mixture of awe and fear. His eyes were wide, his face a canvas of horror as he clung to the side of the helicopter for balance.
Raizo, his eyes narrowed, focused on the sinking ship, searching for any sign of Lucian. "No," he responded, his voice calm and collected. "Let your men go back first. We'll stay here," he instructed Nik before turning to the pilot.
Nik nodded, pressing her earpiece to relay the order. But then, she froze, her finger halting mid-press.
"You guys shoul–What the hell are you doing?!" Nik exclaimed, drawing her pistol, aiming it at Raizo, who had just knocked out the pilot and pulled him from the seat.
"What are you going to do? Shoot me?" Raizo asked, holding the controls with a casual indifference. He settled into the pilot's seat, removing his mask. "Order your men to leave. It's already enough that your siblings might find out our identities," he said calmly, guiding the helicopter towards the sinking ship.
"Tsk," Nik clicked her tongue in irritation. She knew Raizo wasn't a threat, especially since he'd revealed his face, openly abandoning his disguise. She lowered her pistol, letting out a sigh. It was clear that now wasn't the time to argue.
Raizo glanced back at Nik, confirming that she had calmed down. He then focused on flying the helicopter, his voice low and steady, "Go. Look for him. We both know he won't die like that." He spoke with a conviction that Kim Yoo-ri could hear, even though she hadn't spoken a word.
Kim Yoo-ri, her amber eyes glowing, removed her mask. Her gaze fell upon the sinking ship, a determined look settling upon her face.
Nik, settling back into her seat, pressed her earpiece. "You guys go back first. We'll follow," she instructed her team, her voice firm and authoritative. She felt Yaz nudge her shoulder.
"Look, look," Yaz whispered, excitedly pointing at Kim Yoo-ri. "Her eyes changed!" He watched her with a mix of fascination and curiosity.
Nik rolled her eyes at her brother but couldn't help but notice the shift in Kim Yoo-ri's eyes. However, after the chaos on the ship, everything felt surreal, nothing felt truly surprising anymore.
Her team erupted in a flurry of questions and concerns over the comms.
[Are you sure?]
[God damn it, you guys wanted to stay there?! How do you even know that old man is dead?!]
[I think no one could survive that shit, even if they're monsters, mate.]
Nik pressed her earpiece, cutting off their argument. "Go back now," she commanded, her voice cold, showing them who's in charge.
[Roger that] came the response from her team.
[Roger] echoed another voice.
[Nik, be careful. We don't know what they're capable of] a final voice came, laced with concern.
"I know," Nik answered with a soft smile, her eyes meeting those of her brother, silently assuring him. She watched as the other helicopters flew away, leaving the scene behind.
"Found him. He's floating there," Kim Yoo-ri announced, her eyes narrowed, her gaze fixed on the water. A sly grin spread across her lips. "Oh, and he's naked," she whispered, a hint of amusement in her voice.
She shook her head and turned towards Raizo, ready to relay Lucian's location.
Nik, hearing Kim Yoo-ri's whispered comment, snatches the binoculars from Yaz as she looks outside, spotting Lucian floating in the water. She tried to see if he was conscious, her eyes searching for any sign of life. 'Is he conscious?' she thought, her brow furrowed as she saw his eyes open, gazing at the sky. Then her gaze fell to another, more noticeable, part of him. "Oh," she gasped, a hint of shock escaping her lips, "That's...big."
"Yeah, it's big, isn't it," a female voice chimed in, making Nik turn her head to see Kim Yoo-ri looking down at her with a playful smirk.
Nik felt the helicopter begin to turn, heading in Lucian's direction.
"Ahem," Nik coughed, trying to hide her embarrassment. "I was just trying to see if he was still alive."
"He won't die like that," Kim Yoo-ri said, amusement dancing in her amber eyes as she settled beside Nik.
"He still has many things to do," Kim Yoo-ri whispered, a hint of wistfulness in her voice. "And he's too young to die," she added with a playful smirk, teasing Nik.
"Oh really? How young is he?" Nik challenged, crossing her arms, a hint of disbelief in her voice. From what she had seen, Lucian didn't strike her as a child.
Kim Yoo-ri chuckled, knowing the effect Lucian's charm could have on those unaware of his true age. "Hahahaha, you'll be shocked to find out his real age." Her eyes twinkled with a mischievous glint.
"Now, that's your job to figure out," she added, casually surveying Nik and Yaz, her gaze lingering on the two siblings. "After what happened, I think you guys want to extend the contract, isn't it?"
Nik sighed, leaning back into the seat, defeated by Kim Yoo-ri's playful teasing. "You got that right. We want to know more," she admitted, meeting Kim Yoo-ri's eyes, her expression resolute, her curiosity piqued. She had seen enough of the supernatural world to know it was far more complex than she could have ever imagined.
Kim Yoo-ri nodded slightly, appreciating their acceptance of the world beyond the mundane. She shook her head, a knowing smile on her lips.
"He will decide to inform you... if he wants to," Kim Yoo-ri stated, her amber eyes glowing with a subtle intensity, a reminder of the power that flowed within her. "Do you understand?" She emphasized, making it clear that Lucian was the one in control.
Nik looked into Kim Yoo-ri in the eyes for a second before pursuing her lips, turning her head, 'You didn't have to tell me that,' she thought as she had seen what Lucian could do.
Nik then watched as the helicopter descended towards Lucian, a mixture of anticipation and trepidation filling her. The events of the past few hours had been nothing short of extraordinary, and the future, now steeped in the supernatural, promised to be even more unpredictable.

Danube River
"I just noticed the universe has so much to offer," Lucian mused, his gaze fixed on the star-studded sky. With the strain of his powers finally easing, the cloudy skies had vanished, revealing a breathtaking panorama of stars. In his past life, his vision had been so blurry, it had been a struggle to even spot a single bright star.
Now, with the world laid bare before him, the universe felt vast and wondrous.
"Do you think there's aliens in this world?" Lucian asked Cortana, his voice a whisper against the vastness of the night.
"Yes, the parasite is one of them, remember," Cortana replied, appearing beside him, her form shimmering in the moonlight that only he can see, as she sat on the water.
"Looks like making a working spaceship in this world will be our priority," Lucian nodded, a glimmer of excitement in his eyes. Even though he had access to Cortana's memories, he wanted to experience space exploration firsthand.
"You better. Make an AI that can help you first," Cortana smiled, her gaze falling upon him.
"Yeah, I know. But I can't make something like you," Lucian shook his head, a wry smile playing on his lips. He knew cloning himself and turning it into an AI wouldn't work. He didn't trust himself enough to create another version of his own consciousness.
"I think that's where you're wrong," Cortana said, her gaze shifting back to the stars.
"Oh? How am I wrong?" Lucian asked, raising an eyebrow, intrigued by her confident tone.
"There's no one as good as me, and no one will be," Cortana said with a smug certainty, her voice resonating with a quiet pride. She knew she was unique, and she wouldn't allow anyone to take her place in Lucian's life. 'I need to let that God damn tree bloom,' she thought, a slight frown marring her features. The only obstacle to her wonderful life was her lack of a physical form.
"Well..." Lucian hesitated, seeing the narrowed gaze that Cortana was directing at him. "You're right, no one will be as good as you," he conceded, a smirk playing on his lips.
Cortana nodded, a hint of satisfaction in her expression. "It's good that you know," she said, her voice laced with a hint of smugness.
They shared a look, a silent understanding passing between them before they burst into laughter.
Their conversation was interrupted by the whirring of a helicopter propeller as it descended, its shadow falling over the water, making it churn and ripple.
"They're here. You better find something to cover yourself, don't you think?" Cortana said, her voice a playful smirk as she glanced down at Lucian's bare form focusing on his cock before disappearing.
"What a pervert lover," Lucian chuckled, a smirk spreading across his lips. He looked around, scanning the debris-filled water. 'Are there any fresh clothes somewhere? Not where dead people aren't wearing them,' he thought, not wanting to wear 'WET' pants from a dead body.
His eyes fell upon a floating uniform, a cleaner's outfit. He used his psychic abilities to draw it towards him, catching it with a sigh as he realized it was only the top half.
"Can you climb up yourself !" Kim Yoo-ri shouted from the helicopter, lowering a rope towards him.
Lucian looked up and nodded, his gaze momentarily flitting back to the uniform before he grasped the rope. As he began to climb, the uniform, floated as it tied itself around his waist, covering his exposed lower body.
"Need any help?" Nik asked, her hand outstretched as he neared the helicopter. Her eyes widened, taking in his features. 'Is this why he always wears a mask? God damn, anyone would remember a face like this,' she thought, mesmerized by his sharp angles and ethereal beauty, that could not be fully hidden by illusions.
Lucian didn't respond, his eyes focused on reaching the safety of the helicopter. He grasped her hand, allowing her to pull him up. As he entered, Nik couldn't help but glance at his lower body, covered by the jacket. 'Pity,' she thought, a flicker of regret crossing her mind.
"Mission Complete?" Kim Yoo-ri asked, a slight smile gracing her lips as she stood in front of Lucian.
"Yeah, a third of it," Lucian said, a wry smile tugging at his lips as he glanced towards the severed leg resting on the deck. Their objective had been to retrieve Alexander's entire body, or even catch Alexander alive if possible, but all they had was a leg.
Lucian shook his head in disappointment, unsure if it would even be useful for his experiments, before sitting on a seat.
Raizo looked back from the cockpit. "It's good that you're okay!" he shouted, his voice filled with relief. He and Lucian exchanged smiles before Raizo took control of the helicopter, heading back towards their base.
Lucian leaned back in his seat, resting his neck against the headrest. He closed his eyes, his voice a soft murmur.
"I know you have questions. And it's fine. Everyone would be curious after seeing something like that. But for now, let me rest, okay?" Lucian could feel their intense stares, the siblings' curiosity burning like a wildfire.
Nik and Yaz exchanged a look before their eyes fell on Kim Yoo-ri, who had settled beside Lucian, her eyes closed as she started resting as well.
They decided to remain silent, acknowledging the need for quiet resting time in the aftermath of such extraordinary events.
"Looks like controlling a monster like that wasn't easy," Yaz whispered, closing the helicopter's door, gazing out of the window.
Nik nudged him with her elbow, silencing him. Yet, her eyes remained fixed on the churning waters, the spot where the ship had vanished, sinking beneath the waves.
Her eyes flashed with a new understanding, a realization that they were just scratching the surface of a world far more complex and dangerous than they could have ever imagined. They were close to the truth, to answers that could unravel the secrets of the new world that had been revealed to them.
