When my legs hit the 'hard object' and I fell, I was half expecting that Kaene would catch me.
But that didn't happen.
I used my arms to break my fall, preventing my face from hitting the ground.
But I hurt my elbow in the process, causing me to gasp in pain.
My eyes went to the 'object' that I hit my leg on and I realized then that it was Elsa's legs, which she withdrew into the table after I fell.
"Oh, dear. Are you okay?" She asked innocently, standing up from her seat.
At this point, all eyes on the dining table were trying to get a look at me, and I was deeply embarrassed.

Anyway, to my surprise, Elsa helped me up, supporting me back on my feet.
However, her grip on my elbow soon tightened and she brought her mouth close to my ear briefly. "You better give up and leave with whatever dignity you have left. I have Kaene right where I want him and I'm not going to let you ruin it." She whispered coldly.
