Chapter 151 - Chapter 151: Third Awakening

"Summoning Element?"

Lu Mei was surprised. "Isn't that another money-draining Element?"

"Yes," Lu Jun scratched his head. "I originally wanted to awaken the Chaos Element to complement my Space Element, but after thinking it through… our family isn't exactly full of geniuses. I decided to pass."

"Only someone like Professor Yuan could probably handle both Chaos and Sound Elements."

Hearing this, Lu Mei nodded in agreement before realizing something. Her pretty face turned slightly angry as she pinched her brother's cheek. "Oh? Are you implying something? Who in this family isn't intelligent?"

"Speak for yourself! Don't drag your sister into this!"

Lu Jun broke free from his sister's grasp, rubbing his face with an awkward smile. "Nothing like that. I'm just saying my mental stamina is limited. Using six Elements alternately might prevent me from unleashing my full combat power."

The Summoning Element was the least taxing Magic System. Once a summoned beast was on the battlefield, it would fight autonomously.

That meant he only had to focus on managing the other five Elements, conserving his energy.

Even in the original storyline, Mo Fan, after reaching the Advanced Level, mainly used Fire, Lightning, Shadow, and Space. The Demon Element was a passive boost, while Summoning could either be a reinforcement or function independently—making his combat style both complete and terrifying.

Of course, if Lu Jun could perfectly utilize all six Elements, he would surpass Mo Fan and become the ultimate version of a Dual-Element Awakened Mage.

Besides, was the Summoning Element really a money sink? Not necessarily!

For him, the Summoning Element could form a combat force even faster than the Space Element, which still required gradual cultivation to the Intermediate Level.

Even Advanced Mages, with their experience and resources, needed at least half a year to push the Space Element to its Intermediate peak.

Meanwhile, the Summoning Element could exert combat strength immediately at the Basic Level.

Because Basic Summoning Magic – Dimensional Summon was full of unpredictability. The summoner's consciousness would enter a separate plane beyond reality—the Summoned Beast Dimension.

By capturing a creature using spiritual force, the summoner could temporarily contract it and summon it to the real world for battle. The duration of its presence depended on the mage's mana, scaling with the creature's strength.

Most importantly, the power of the summoned beast was closely linked to the summoner's mental strength.

Lu Jun recalled how Mo Fan's Ghost Wolf had shone brilliantly in the Beast Battle Competition—a Servant-rank creature in its growth phase, making it top-tier among Basic Summoning Beasts.

It was purely due to Mo Fan's naturally strong mental strength from his Dual-Element Awakening that he was able to contract such a creature.

With his current Three-Realm Spiritual Strength, capturing a Warrior-rank Summoned Beast in its growth phase wouldn't be unreasonable, right?

Just one such beast would match the combat power of his Intermediate Curse and Psychic Elements at their peak.

In a way, the Dimensional Element truly exceeded the norm, though his previous accumulation of resources contributed to this advantage.

Lu Jun wasn't in a hurry. He would take his time to find the right beast. This was precisely why he had held back from awakening the Summoning Element at the Intermediate Level and waited until reaching Advanced.

It was like matchmaking.

Mo Fan, a poor guy, had to rely on fate. With no options at the Basic Level, he had no choice but to contract the first suitable Ghost Wolf he encountered.

Lu Jun, on the other hand, was a high-value individual with an abundance of resources. He had the luxury of being selective, choosing a "beautiful" and "wealthy" Summoned Beast for a strong partnership—one that could help him ascend to a higher level.

Thinking of it this way, it would actually save him a ton of resources. He could essentially "freeload" a high-bloodline Summoned Beast.

"The 80/20 rule of the strong applies in every world."

Lu Jun shook his head and told his sister not to follow. He would handle his awakening alone.

As he left the house, he glanced at Ai Tutu and another girl whispering in the living room but paid them no mind. Calling Qingyu to drive, he headed to the Oriental Pearl Tower.

Ten minutes later, in an elegant and luxurious room on one of the upper floors of the tower, a circular Awakening Platform stood with a pre-installed silver Dimensional Guidance Stone.

Both the Space and Summoning Elements fell under the Dimensional Category, heavily influenced by the mage's spiritual level.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

Lu Jun was already familiar with the process. Placing his hands on the Awakening Disk, he felt a vast, ethereal energy surge into his spiritual world.

Soon, two faint Stardusts emerged, nestled close to his Water Element StarConstellation, as well as the Nebula of Metal, Curse, and Psychic Elements.

One was pure silver, radiating brilliance with an aura of nothingness.

The other was crescent-colored, flowing with a mysterious presence from another world.

[Space Element] and [Summoning Element] successfully awakened!

Seeing this, Lu Jun was both delighted and troubled. He hadn't even found a solution for advancing his three Nebulas, and now he had two more weak Elements to take care of.

"Tsk, tsk, tsk… Even though I became an Advanced Mage a year and a half earlier than Mo Fan, time still feels tight."

Lu Jun decided to go into "seclusion" for six months. During this time, he would train in the two newly awakened Elements while also taking on some tasks at the Clear Sky Hunter Agency.

At the same time, he needed to master the Advanced Water Magic—Heavenly Water Curtain—which required controlling 343 Star Constellations, a massive undertaking. Even his sister, Lu Mei, and Mo Fan would need half a year to fully grasp it.

Without mastering Advanced Magic, one could not be considered a true Advanced Mage.

Fortunately, having a mentor came with some perks. He could "borrow" some resources, such as the Star Constellation Controller that Dean Xiao had used in his youth. Mo Fan had spent a Millions to obtain one of these.

Lu Jun realized that there were many aspects he needed to improve, so he wasn't in a rush.

Having multiple Elements did have its advantages. Whenever one stagnated, he had other means to continue progressing. By pushing himself to the limit, he wouldn't waste a single moment.

As Lu Jun stepped out of the Oriental Pearl Tower, no one paid him any attention.

No one knew that this young man had just awakened his Advanced Elements. At most, they would assume he was an Intermediate Mage awakening his second Element—a promising young talent, but nothing extraordinary.

His secretary, Qingyu, who followed him everywhere, had some vague suspicions. She lowered her voice and asked, "What did you come to the Pearl Tower for?"

Lu Jun smiled faintly. "What do you think?"

"You… you've become Advanced?!"

Qingyu's usual cold demeanor broke, her heart trembling with shock.

"How does it feel? Pretty hopeless, right?" Lu Jun said smugly. "From now on, I'll always be above you. Water Institute's eternal runner-up!"

Hearing this, Qingyu gritted her teeth. She had planned to accumulate experience as the top student for a year or two before purchasing a Star River Vessel, but now Lu Jun had knocked her down.

Advanced Level now felt more distant than ever.

For a brief moment, she had the urge to bite him.

In the end, she simply let out a cold snort, strode over to the driver's seat, and started the car. With her personality, she wouldn't actually act on such impulses.

When Lu Jun arrived home and stepped out of the car, he saw her sports car speed away, leaving only dust in its wake. He scratched his head seemed like she was really upset.

A few days later, in the living room of Golden Source Apartment, Lu Jun was practicing Star Constellation control and experimenting with Summoning Magic.

Even though he had just awakened the Element, with his advanced spiritual realm, capturing a mere seven Star Constellations was quite simple.

Buzz! Buzz! Buzz!

Soon, in his spiritual universe, faint moon-white Stardust began to release wisps of crescent-colored energy. Around him, several Stars appeared, connecting with slight difficulty, stumbling through the process.

A crescent-white arc flashed—his first-tier Basic Spell, Dimensional Summon: Contract Imprint, was cast.

Lu Jun's spirit trembled. In a daze, he saw a grand crescent-white door, engraved with intricate, mysterious patterns—each resembling the markings of countless beasts.

Then, his senses heightened, and his soul seemed to detach from his body, leaping into another dimension.
