"THAT IS ENOUGH!" the king bellowed, fixing Caspian with a hard gaze as he continued, "You can deny your treason all you want, but the crown is still on my head and this is still my throne room."
Caspian's eyes locked with the king, and the air crackled with electricity. "A man like you doesn't deserve a crown."
"You wouldn't dare to speak like this if you knew what those animals did to–"
"I know what they did. But you can't wash her blood away with the blood of thousands of innocent people," Caspian growled, cutting off the king's words.
The king took a step back, panting with anger. He looked at the royal guard and then at Caspian. His face was so completely distorted by hatred that he was almost drooling. "Fire!" he commanded.
