Chapter 251: Wind Style: Light Wheel Gale Shuriken Zero Style
Obito lifted his gaze to meet the Fourth Hokage's, his hands moving swiftly to form seals, both Mangekyō Sharingan spinning rapidly.
"Kamui: Tempest Dance!"
Under the warping influence of Kamui, the range of the pitch-black flames expanded several times over, surging fiercely towards the mountainside!
Minato's pupils contracted. "Scatter!"
He and the surrounding ninjas vanished from their positions, dispersing to avoid the incoming black flames.
The advancing flames did not relent, silently causing the part of the mountain they touched to disappear.
Minato and the others quickly landed around Obito and Ōtsutsuki Shinichi, surrounding them with solemn expressions.
In their eyes, a tornado-like scar instantly etched itself onto the mountainside, leaving a massive hole that went straight through the mountain! Boom! The mountain trembled as it tried to fill the gap, boulders rolling and dirt flying as the earth sought to mend the breach.
Had the damaged area not been the mountainside, the entire mountain might have collapsed.
"..."
Minato took a deep breath, visibly shaken.
This was the power of double Kamui—far more terrifying than he had anticipated.
And with the addition of the Moon God…
A spatial vortex unfurled beside Minato, and a wooden spike imbued with Kamui's power shot out, piercing through Minato's chest in an instant.
Obito emerged from the vortex, a slight smirk on his lips.
"Sensei, it's unwise to zone out at a time like this…"
Bang! A puff of white smoke dispersed, leaving only a Flying Thunder God kunai on the ground.
The smile that was about to break on Obito's face froze in place.
"Let me teach you another lesson today—never underestimate your enemy at any time!"
Minato's voice, accompanied by the whirling sound of a Rasengan, rang out from above Obito.
"Wind Style: Light Wheel Gale Shuriken Zero Style!"
A deafening roar, like thunder, shook the surroundings. Following it were countless spinning air blades, spiraling outward in all directions, shredding the earth and forest into fragments.
A dazzling white light engulfed Obito, the brightness blinding to the point where none could look directly at it.
When the dust settled, a massive hemispherical crater was left in the ground, its surface etched with jagged cracks as if torn apart by countless beasts' claws. The air was thick with a lingering sense of ferocity and sharpness.
Standing on the edge of the fifteen-meter-diameter crater, Minato quietly appeared, gazing into its center.
This was the jutsu he had completed last year, named Wind Style: Light Wheel Gale Shuriken Zero Style. Although Tsunade had teased him for the long and clunky name, suggesting it be renamed to Wind Style: Rasenshuriken, Minato still preferred the former. Unless Kushina spoke up, he had decided to keep it as it was.
The power of this jutsu was immense, the strongest known Wind Style jutsu. If not used in Sage Mode, the resulting energy storm during close-quarters attacks would damage his own meridians and bones.
However, with the Flying Thunder God Technique, he could transfer in time to avoid such harm.
Within the crater, Obito's figure reappeared amidst a spatial distortion, his expression dark. "I won't fall for the same trick twice!"
In the past two years, Obito hadn't been idle.
Kamui's potential was endless, and Obito had been continually exploring how to use it more effectively.
Now, his speed in transferring into the dimensional space was twice as fast as when using single Kamui. Finding an opening in his defenses wouldn't be so easy.
Minato's eyes narrowed slightly, yellow eye shadows appearing around his eyes as he grasped several kunai, swiftly tossing them around.
For those with spatial jutsu, resolving their confrontation wasn't simple, so the goal was to restrain Obito instead.
The two locked eyes and charged at each other once more.
...
"Dust Release: Detachment of the Primitive World Technique!"
A blinding white light engulfed Ōtsutsuki Shinichi, disintegrating everything around him into countless particles.
As the light faded, all that remained was a dark, gaping hole.
Hovering in the sky, Kū frowned, his gaze darting around, searching for Ōtsutsuki Shinichi's whereabouts.
As a clone of Ōnoki, Kū maintained a deep respect for his creator.
And since Kitsuchi was the creator's biological son, in Kū's understanding, Kitsuchi was like his brother. Naturally, he respected Kitsuchi's words as well.
In Kitsuchi's description, the Moon God's power far exceeded their own, and no matter how proud he was, Kū wouldn't underestimate the opponent.
"Kū, above!"
Kū's eyes tightened as he darted to the left, narrowly dodging a puppet wielding a long blade that grazed past him, only to be knocked to the ground by Kitsuchi, who had rushed in to assist.
Yet, as if mocking them, the puppet lay unscathed.
"Hard," Kitsuchi frowned. "This is different from the ones we faced before."
He had just used the Super Heavy Rock Technique, yet it had little effect…
"Heh."
Ōtsutsuki Shinichi sneered as he appeared in front of them, surrounded by dozens of puppets. "Today, you will stay here!"
The puppets' mouths opened slightly, gathering yellow energy orbs.
"Don't speak too soon. Lightning Style: Black Panther!"
The roar of a beast echoed through the air.
A pitch-black panther-shaped lightning bolt leaped out from behind Ōtsutsuki Shinichi, instantly knocking one puppet away. Then, the black lightning panther transformed into a torrent of black lightning, weaving a dense web around Kitsuchi and Kū, successfully blocking the other puppets' attacks.
Yet despite the discharge, not a single puppet was incapacitated.
Seeing this, Darui clicked his tongue, his expression becoming more serious, shedding his usual laziness.
"Monsters are becoming more common these days."
Hyuga Fuji, the Moon God, Obito…
Darui was also a genius of the Land of Lightning, but compared to these individuals, he was not on the same level.
Thankfully, he wasn't the only one who had come today, or this would be a difficult battle to escape.
Whoosh, whoosh, whoosh! Apart from Minato and Hyuga Tokuma, the remaining ninjas gathered here, their eyes fixed on Ōtsutsuki Shinichi in the sky.
Kitsuchi and Kū descended, landing beside Darui.
"The opponent's puppets are very tough. Let's use Kū's Dust Release as the core to break through."
"Alright." Darui nodded, glancing at the distant Minato and Obito before quickly averting his gaze, not mentioning any support for that side.
Even the ninjas from the Land of Fire had come to support them, not assisting the other side. Naturally, he wouldn't speak out of turn.
The combat style with Flying Thunder God was too fast; they weren't suited to join.
However, Darui was puzzled. When did Konoha produce another Flying Thunder God user, and one with blond hair like the Fourth Hokage?
Could having blond hair increase the success rate of learning Flying Thunder God? Surely the Fourth hadn't been resurrected, right? With that thought, Darui set aside these speculations and focused on dealing with Ōtsutsuki Shinichi.
Lightning Style, Fire Style, Dust Release…
The battlefield was engulfed in scenes of natural disasters—lightning storms, seas of fire, mudslides—exuding immense firepower. But the only technique that warranted Ōtsutsuki Shinichi's caution was Dust Release.
"Ultimately, they're just puppets. Even with Yin-Yang Release and the Regiel vein to enhance their hardness, they're still like this."
Watching his puppets being destroyed by Dust Release, Ōtsutsuki Shinichi remained expressionless.
