Chapter 267: Defeating Uchiha Madara in Three Minutes!
As Uchiha Madara walked away, Konan looked at Nagato with concern. "Nagato, you..."
"I'm fine," Nagato replied, shaking his head, his gaze dark as it turned to the six figures behind him. "Go, distract Iwagakure."
The Six Paths of Pain immediately split up, entering Iwagakure to cause destruction and draw attention.
Although the outcome was inevitable, Nagato would use all his strength until everything was settled. He wouldn't underestimate Iwagakure.
After his battle with Hyuga Fuji, he had learned to remain humble and cautious.
"Konan, let's go. We need to capture the two tailed beasts as quickly as possible."
"...Understood." Konan glanced at Nagato and nodded silently.
Shinno and Zetsu exchanged a glance and followed them into Iwagakure's barrier.
---
They're here!
As Isshiki sensed multiple chakra signatures approaching, Iwagakure's alarms sounded.
"Enemy attack! Ten intruders have breached the barrier, attacking from six directions!"
The ninja monitoring the barrier shouted the warning, causing the retreating ninjas at the village's edge to halt.
Although the meteors had been stopped, they were still ticking time bombs that could fall at any moment. No one dared to risk their lives by staying close.
Hearing about the enemy intrusion, the gathered ninjas showed a mix of hatred and fear.
The tension in the village, already heightened by the meteors, escalated. Now, the supposed masterminds were here, fueling their rage and fear. The enemy's power—capable of bringing Iwagakure to its knees with a single jutsu—was terrifying.
"What are you afraid of? They're made of flesh and blood, same as us! Gather up and protect the village!"
Under the leadership of some jonin, the ninjas suppressed their fear and quickly regrouped to respond to the sudden attack.
"Everyone, split up and act! Group one, head east. Group two, go west. Group three, join the Earth Golem unit and follow me!" a jonin barked orders, leading a team of elite ninjas and earth golems to intercept the strongest threat.
It wasn't long before they spotted Uchiha Madara and immediately assessed the situation.
"Sharingan? Meteor? Edo Tensei? So it really is Hyuga Fuji!"
The leading jonin stared at Madara with a heavy expression. "I've heard of the Uchiha clan's pride. Are you truly willing to be a puppet of Hyuga Fuji?"
Uchiha Madara stood in the center of the battlefield, his gaze filled with disdain and contempt. He surveyed the ninjas around him as if they were mere insects. "A puppet? Hyuga Fuji is incapable of controlling me. Hand over the Four-Tails and Five-Tails, and I'll spare your lives."
"Delusional!" the Iwagakure jonin snorted coldly.
By this time, more Iwagakure ninjas had gathered, and Nagato and his team had also caught up to Madara.
The black-cloaked figures with red clouds and ringed fingers brought even greater tension to the battlefield, and the lead jonin's expression turned graver, tinged with confusion.
Akatsuki? So it's not Hyuga Fuji? Or are they working together?
"Madara, if you want to fight, the battlefield is yours. We'll handle capturing the tailed beasts," Nagato said, ignoring Madara's earlier remarks. Now wasn't the time for such discussions—he knew how to prioritize.
Madara neither nodded nor refused but silently accepted the arrangement. A bloodthirsty glint flashed in his eyes.
Seeing this, Nagato said no more and, with Konan and the others, headed toward the jinchuriki.
The two jinchuriki, possibly following Onoki's orders, hadn't moved toward the outskirts but instead stayed in a densely populated area.
Have they figured out our objective?
Too bad… You lack the strength to protect the jinchuriki!
The lead jonin watched Nagato and the others head for the village center. He wanted to intercept them, but an unintentional glance from Uchiha Madara made his heart skip a beat. A terrifying pressure engulfed him.
Wait. That red-haired man called him… Madara?
Sharingan... Uchiha Madara?
The jonin's eyes widened as he stared at Madara, who looked eerily identical to the statue in the Valley of the End. His heart sank.
"It's Uchiha Madara! Be careful!" the jonin shouted, warning the others.
The ninjas froze. They hadn't understood why the jonin let Nagato and his team go, but now they did.
No one could blame him.
That name alone stood for power!
Uchiha Madara, clad in his crimson armor, stood alone in the battlefield's center like a god of war. His cold, piercing eyes betrayed no emotion, as though the ninjas before him were lambs waiting for slaughter.
Without a word, Madara began to walk forward. His pace quickened with each step, his overwhelming presence bearing down on the distant Iwagakure forces. Each step felt like a blow to their hearts, sowing waves of unease and fear.
"Hmph! So what if you're Uchiha Madara? No matter how strong you are, you're just one man!"
"Your era has long passed! This is not a place where you can run wild!"
"Take him down in three minutes, then assist the others! Attack!"
Seeing Madara advance instead of retreat, the Iwagakure forces erupted into chaos. Without needing a command, a wave of ninjas surged toward him, confident that their numbers would overwhelm him.
In moments, over a hundred ninjas had converged, bolstered by five massive earth golems capable of fighting tailed beasts. Could Uchiha Madara, alone, defeat them all?
Impossible. Absolutely impossible!
"Earth Style: Rock Pillar Spears!"
The elite Iwagakure ninjas launched the first attack, raising massive stone pillars that shot toward Madara like deadly blades. He dodged them effortlessly.
Seeing this, the close-combat specialists charged. Like a tidal wave, they surrounded Madara, swords and jutsu flying in a chaotic flurry.
Yet, contrary to expectations, Madara wasn't overwhelmed. Instead, he became a crimson blur, weaving through the crowd with lightning-fast movements.
Each strike he delivered was accompanied by the sickening sound of bones snapping and the agonized screams of his victims. Madara didn't use ninjutsu or genjutsu—only taijutsu. Yet even so, he turned the battlefield into a storm of blood and chaos.
His speed was unbelievable, his movements precise. A ninja barely had time to raise a kunai before Madara sent him flying with a single kick, leaving him writhing in pain.
"Ahhh!!"
Screams echoed one after another, forming a haunting melody that traced Madara's merciless rampage.
Amid the ninja forces, Madara was like a graceful yet deadly dancer, his movements rhythmically delivering death. His actions were swift and efficient, each strike a masterpiece of destruction.
Ordinary chunin couldn't withstand even one blow, often falling before they realized what had happened. Even experienced jonin crumbled the moment they faced him.
The massive golems couldn't keep up with his movements, helplessly watching as he slaughtered their allies.
This battlefield had become Uchiha Madara's hunting ground.
