Kaylen stepped forward, his expression serious, and asked,"Centaurs? Are they here to fight?"
Jonady furrowed his brows, his face set in a stern expression.
But Thaloria, observing their reaction, raised her hands to calm them.
"Let's remain composed, Sir Kaya. Azulferia has good relations with the Centaur Kingdom. There's no reason to worry."
At these words, the tension in the room eased slightly.
Thaloria turned to one of the guards present.
"Ulsak, bring the leaders centaur deleguation right here."
"At your command, Lady Thaloria," Ulsak replied with a respectful nod before leaving the room.
A few minutes later he returned, accompanied by an imposing centaur.
His towering stature revealed a creature with six powerful legs an equine body covered in dark fur, and attire reminiscent of ancient Vikings—a helmet adorned with two horns, a long beard, and a massive battle axe in hand.
The centaur stepped forward, scanning the room.
"Elves from your kingdom came to us," he declared in a powerful voice. "They told us that Etrakios attacked Azulferia. We have come as reinforcements."
Thaloria gave a calm smile and replied,
"Greetings, Lord Sikiord. Your aid is greatly appreciated, but as you can see, the conflict is already over."
Sikiord narrowed his eyes, skeptical.
"Truly?"
Thaloria nodded.
"Indeed. It would be better to discuss this elsewhere. Follow me."
We gathered in a grand chamber within the castle.
Constructed entirely of oak wood, the room exuded warmth, featuring a massive desk and two large sofas facing each other.
A painting hung on one of the walls, depicting Thaloria standing beside Sylena, who was seated.
Thaloria and I took a seat on one of the sofas, while Sikiord remained standing, observing the room.
"This is my office," Thaloria said. "We will be much more comfortable discussing matters here."
She gestured toward me.
"Lord Sikiord, allow me to introduce Jonady Kaya, monarch of the Kingdom of Ednia."
The centaur fixed Jonady with a curious gaze, examining him for a moment before talking.
"I am sikiord nice to meet you viscount and advisor to King Meolx of the Centaur Kingdom i have heard of your heroic exploits, Hero Jonady Kaya, against the coalition. But I must admit, I am surprised you became the King of Ednia?"
Jonady scratched his head, visibly embarrassed, unsure of how to respond.
Sikiord, regaining his serious demeanor, continued,
"Can you tell me in detail what happened?"
Thaloria and I exchanged a glance before providing a brief explanation of recent events.
Sikiord listened attentively, one hand resting on his chin.
"I see..." he finally said. "There is no doubt that after the defeat of Etrakios and the prince of the Katakiel Empire, Alderia is about to enter a new era."
He then turned to me, his eyes filled with curiosity and respect.
"Sir Kaya, what are the future intentions of the Kingdom of Ednia?"
I took a deep breath before answering,"I wish to make Ednia a prosperous nation, a thriving economic center. I want to develop commercial and cordial relations with all nations and work toward mutual prosperity for the good of our diverse peoples."
Sikiord burst into laughter.
« Hahaha, interesting, Sir Kaya if that is the casethen my kingdom would be delighted to establish friendly relations with Ednia.»
"An alliance and good relations between us would be beneficial for both sides."
I raised an eyebrow, a bit surprised."Is this certain? What will your king say? Do you have the authority to make such a decision?"
Sikiord replied without hesitation."I act with my king's full authority. He has entrusted me with complete decision-making power."
I accepted with a smile, and he extended his hand.
We shook, sealing this new agreement.
"In the future," I added, "I plan to organize a grand ceremony in Ednia, where several nations will be invited."
Sikiord smiled, satisfied.
"Excellent. You can be sure that King Meolx will be present."
As he and his men departed for their homeland, a sense of accomplishment filled me.
I thought about Ednia's promising future, which thanks to these alliances would soon become a thriving economic jewel.
Later that evening, the grand royal hall of Elsihore Castle was filled with elves.
The Council of Sages had gathered for a momentous occasion—the official coronation of Thaloria.
At the center of the hall, Zoltun, the council's eldest member, approached Thaloria, holding the royal scepter, the symbol of power.
"Do you swear to serve, protect, and defend the Confederation of Azulferia?" he asked solemnly.
Thaloria, dressed in a majestic gown, lifted her head and declared with determination,"I swear it, never to betray Azulferia."
Zoltun handed her the royal scepter, officially marking her role as sovereign.
A wave of approval rippled through the gathered crowd.
Kodort standing in a corner of the room, smiled proudly.
Sylena, emotional, cried out,
"Long live big sister!"
Even Lanny, still weak but present for the occasion called out enthusiastically,
"You're the best, sister!"
Applause echoed through the hall.
Thaloria, now queen stood tall and noble, ready to lead Azulferia toward a bright future.
