'My Queen…' Those words resounded in her ears.
Eve continued walking, going deeper into the forest. Her feet followed the sound of the voice in her mind which was calling her.
'Our Queen…'
"Who are you?" Eve uttered, darting her gaze around her surroundings.
She couldn't explain why she was hearing this voice in her mind. But for some unknown reason, she didn't feel scared or threatened. She could feel a sense of security as she continued traversing the forest.
"Where are you? Please show yourself to me. Why are you calling me?" Eve asked, her voice loud enough for the creatures in the forest to hear her words.
'I've been looking for you for so long, my Queen,' the mesmerizing voice lingered in her ears.
Eve frowned and paused on her track. She could hear approaching footsteps from behind. She turned around only to be surprised to see a white fox. Its fur was glowing in the dark.
