The room was still bathed in early morning darkness, the faintest hint of dawn creeping in through the curtains. The world outside was quiet, still asleep—just like Alexia had been moments ago before I decided I wanted more.
She blinked up at me, still lost between sleep and wakefulness, her brows furrowing slightly as her lips parted. My fingers were still inside her, moving slow, teasing. Her body was already responding, dampening around my touch, pulling me in.
"Aiden…" she murmured, voice raspy from sleep.
"Morning, sweetheart," I said again, this time pressing a kiss to her parted lips. She tasted like sleep, warmth, and last night—a combination that made something in my chest tighten.
Her thighs trembled slightly as I curled my finger inside her, dragging it against that sensitive spot that made her body jolt. She let out a soft whimper, one she was clearly trying to swallow down, but I wasn't having that.
