A loud cry pierced through the silence of the afternoon, echoing against the walls of the pack house.
"MOMMY! I want my mommy!"
Kai continued to cry relentlessly,his face red from all the cry as his chest heaved with each sob that wracked his body. Kai always acted so smart for his age that everyone seemed to forget that he was still a little child. Everyone had been trying to comfort him for almost an hour. The servants tried to sing for him, and got him lots of colourful toys. Ronan even held him but none of it seemed to be working.
"Come on Kai. You know that you're a big boy now and big boys don't cry. Your mom will be back very soon" Ronan whispered while bouncing him gently but that only seemed to make him cry even louder.
