Nnenna was still lost in thought when she suddenly heard a loud clapping sound.
"Why are you standing there like it's New Year's fireworks?" Ebere teased, stretching her arms. "Let's move! Let's go, let's go!"
Nnenna smiled slightly, shaking her head as they resumed jogging. The air was fresh, the sun slowly rising, casting golden hues over the castle grounds.
They had started their exercise routine together, something Nnenna never expected to share with her sister.
From the top of the castle, Abuchi stood, arms folded, silently observing them. He had watched everything from the moment they stepped outside, from the awkwardness in their first interactions to the way Ebere now ran beside Nnenna, talking freely.
A strange feeling settled in his chest.
