Xion coughed lightly as his eyes skimmed past the next paragraph ... which was even more absurd.
He directly slammed the journal shut. His face felt like it was on fire. There was no way he was reading any of that to anyone ... Especially to Darius.
"Why did you stop?"
Xion didn't turn around. "You're too close. It's making me ... uneasy."
A low, throaty chuckle rumbled from behind him. It was soft, yet rich enough to make Xion's breath hitch.
He swallowed hard, unsure if he was more embarrassed by the sound or the fact that he'd just realized something dangerous.
He liked Darius' voice... maybe even more than Allen's.
Before he could dwell on that troubling thought, a finger slid down the back of his neck.
Xion's whole body trembled from reflex.
"You have such a sensitive neck," Darius spoke lazily but the way there was an obvious smile seeping into his words, Xion knew his grace was definitely enjoying teasing him.
