Nora stood beside her, "So you and lover boy."
Luna blushed, "You noticed."
"You should be asking who did not notice?"
Luna grimaced, "I thought that we had disguised it well."
Nora laughed, "You were blushing and he was grinning too much."
"Ugh."
"I also saw the kiss on the hand."
Luna chuckled, "Aren't you also not supposed to be working."
"I am but I'm also watching a soap opera simultaneously."
"I don't think it was that interesting."
"With Ace too."
Luna sighed, "How is he now added to the mix?"
"You should see the way he was glaring at you two. I thought he would get up and beat up William right there and then."
Luna gulped, she knew that he was capable of doing that. "He has issues."
Nora nodded in agreement, "He is too obsessed with you and I don't think he can control himself. He does not hide how he feels about you two. The girls notice that too."
"No, he is not obsessed with me."
"Yes he is, I see the way he looks at you, Luna."
She grasped on the first thing that she could get a hold of, "He has tons of mistresses."
"I get that but the way he looks at you is definitely different to the way he looks at his mistresses."
"No, you're seeing things."
Nora shook her head, "I know you want to live in oblivion but it is the truth."
"No, you are reading too much into this."
"I'm not, that is why Sienna and the other mistresses don't like you."
"I refuse to be caught up in that again, I'm finally free and living how I want to."
"You better hope he stays away from you Luna, he seems very unhinged."
"Or maybe he is not used to being told no, and he does not know how to process that."
"That's not it too, it seems as if you flame something in him."
"I don't, no way."
"He won't stay away from you, I can bet that."
She had to stay calm, he had given her his word. "He has to, he said he would."
"With your tone, I know that you know it too that Ace always gets what he wants and at the moment that is you."
"Stop, he said he would leave me alone."
"Do you really think he has?"
Luna sighed, "Honestly I don't know."
"If he wasn't you would be sure but you and I know better."
"William and I are progressing, I refuse for Ace to ruin that."
"Even if you refuse, there is no guarantee. No one can stop him."
Luna turned to Ace and found him staring at her, she shivered.
"You see," Nora said it to her.
"He scares me so much."
"Me too, I cannot imagine how you must be feeling, I don't know how you deal with it all," Nora replied.
"My heart skips a beat when I look at him, and it's a chilling feeling."
"Right, I made eye contact by mistake and that shook me." Nora nodded.
"Enough about him, I don't want to spoil my evening."
"It's cute how lover boy looks at you with puppy eyes."
She smiled, "I love his eyes, I could look at them forever."
Nora touched her heart, "How sweet."
She laughed, "Now to wait until work is over."
"Tell me about it, my feet are sore."
"Ace is another problem once more, we cater to him and how he feels. If he left now, the boss would let us start clearing up but you have to stay out front for him to get his daily dose of you."
"We said we not giving him the time of day."
"True, I forgot. It's just that everything ties to him."
Luna nodded, "I get it, it won't be easy but I have to get used to being comfortable with his presence as I doubt he will stop coming here any time soon."
"Do you think he would do something to William?"
Luna's eyes widened, "Do you think he would go that far?"
"I wouldn't put it past him."
She scratched the back of her head, "I hope I never get a call about William being in an accident."
"Justice would be impossible to get, with Ace and his connections."
Luna nodded, "I can't believe all of this has happened to me, I just wish it would have happened to someone who wants his attention."
"What do you think makes him so drawn to you?"
"I don't know Nora, I search for the answers in my mind too but I can't get to a conclusion."
"I suppose you can't ask him?"
"No, he wouldn't tell me."
"Look."
She turned to Ace and his eyes were on her still and broke eye contact immediately, not wanting him to call her for help.
