It took Lance some seconds before he touched the floor of the forest, as the canopy was just too thick and the trees taller than any he had ever seen. Barely ten minutes into the forest, the path Lance was following abruptly disappeared, replaced by a swirling mist that blanketed the ground.
Lance frowned, turning in circles. "This wasn't here before." He said, looking around and attempting to make sense of where he was exactly, so he doesn't get lost.
"This is... disorienting," Lance muttered, pressing a hand to his temple.
