Emily's eyes never left Ash's face "Ash, what's going on? What is this place?"
Ash's gaze finally shifted, their eyes locking onto Emily's "I don't know," they said, their voice low "But I think we're about to find out."
The air around them seemed to vibrate with an otherworldly energy.
Emily could feel it humming through her veins, making her skin prickle.
Cole's voice was tight with concern "We need to get out of here, this energy field is messing with our gear."
Raine nodded, her eyes scanning the horizon "I'm trying to get a reading, but everything is malfunctioning."
Ash took a step forward, their eyes fixed on something in the distance. "I think we're being pulled towards something."
Emily followed their gaze, and her heart sank. In the distance, a massive structure loomed, its walls pulsing with the same energy that surrounded them.
"What is that?" Emily breathed.
Ash's expression was grim. "I don't know, but I think we're about to find out."
