This morning, Lucas, who had just finished showering and was only wearing his white undergarment and black material pants, approached his wife, who was making breakfast in the kitchen.
"Honey," Lucas called as he slipped his arms around his wife's waist. He pressed his body close to hers and rested his face in the crook of her neck.
"Sir, what's wrong? I'm cooking. You'll get splashed with oil if you do this," Haisley said.
"I miss you," Lucas said and buried his face in his wife's neck to inhale her scent.
"Sir, ah..." said Haisley, who unconsciously sighed because she was too amused by Lucas' action of inhaling her body scent from the neck.
Lucas straightened his body, turned off the stove, and then turned his wife's body to face him. He smiled, one hand now rubbing the side of his wife's cheek. "Beautiful," Lucas said.
"I have to make breakfast, sir," Haisley said.
