Days passed, and Haisley was still not allowed to go home. While Haisley was in the hospital, Lucas had to take frequent leave to take care of his wife, who was being treated. Fortunately, the company made allowances because they knew that Lucas had no family here, not to mention that Lucas still had a child who was only five years old. He certainly can't do much on his own.
At lunchtime, Lucas went to the hospital to bring food for his son and his wife's order. "I can go home tomorrow," Haisley said as she looked at her husband, who was arranging the food.
"Ah, it's good that you can go home. But remember, honey, what the doctor said. You have to bedrest," said Lucas, who was now carrying a plate of food for his wife.
