"At eight in the evening, I'll pick you up. No more sleepovers!" said Ken.
"I've had more than my share of sleepovers," Haisley said and quickly got out of the car before her brother could get mad at her for answering his orders.
"Tsk!" cried Ken, annoyed by his sister's behavior and words. He now only watched his brother until he actually entered the house.
The bodyguard at home immediately approached Haisley to help carry her luggage. "Thank you," Haisley said with a smile.
Lucas, who was watching television, turned to the two people who had just passed by the area where he was watching. "You again, why are you here? I told you, we have nothing to do with each other!" annoyed Lucas as he stared at Haisley when his eyes saw Haisley's presence. It's one thing to say it's another to say it, because right now, Lucas's heart was cheering. He was happy that Haisley was back.
"I just made soto and chicken sambal lado," Haisley said as she looked at Lucas who was now silent.
