Cedric gently pushed open the door of the Inn room, the moment Aurelia noticed a door opening behind her her mood shifted as she pounced on Cedric.
"I missed you, my hero!" Aurelia squeezed as hard as she could, getting herself as close to the hero as possible despite his armor offering impossible resistance.
"Aurelia, could you let go," Cedric asked, but instead of his usual cold dismissive tone, he spoke gently.
"But I don't want to!" Aurelia retorted she wanted to use this opportunity to hug her hero as she usually did not have such an opportunity.
Cedric sighed as he gently peeled off the clingy princess.
"You wanted to learn more about true faith, did you not?" Cedric spoke, his tone clearly conveying joy at the opportunity to spread the word of God.
Aurelia nodded, "Yes, I would love to learn everything about it... And you sir Cedric." Aurelia blushed.
"You have gotten rid of pride, alas you still are afflicted by sins. But that is not an issue as you have shown a willingness to prove yourself to the Lord, and God is merciful to all those who accept him in their hearts." Cedric spoke, his voice oozing with joy and zeal.
The only thing Aurelia could do when facing Cedric was to stay quiet and listen, he spoke about the faith with such conviction and zeal that it put even the most devoted clergy to shame.
"But that can wait, Once we return to your kingdom I shall teach you everything." Cedric proclaimed before casting [Create Holy Scripture].
Aurelia's eyes were wide in surprise as Cedric told her that he was coming to Valar with her, she couldn't have asked for better news, after all, she was ready to kneel and beg and more just for him to come with her.
A book appeared in his hand, a bible identical to the one he gifted to a group of soldiers.
"I have 2 gifts for you, Aurelia." Cedric reached behind his back, retrieving a blade wrapped in cloth.
Cedric placed the Bible on the blade before handing it to Aurelia.
Aurelia couldn't believe it, her beloved hero had created a gift for her, just for her. "I... Thank you... Cedric." She blushed as she accepted the gift.
"This Legendary blade is named Zenith, It is imbued with Holy power. You shall wield it in the name of God as I do."
Aurelia unwrapped the blade, her gaze looking over it with astonishment, even if it was a bad sword she would use it as it was a gift from her beloved, but this blade was both beautiful and radiant.
"Zenith..." Her eyes sparkled, she would make her love proud, and she could swear.
"I swear I will not fail you, Cedric." She spoke in a serious tone, after all this was no playing matter. If she failed Cedric she would never forgive herself.
Cedric nodded, "I am glad, I shall guide you so that you may become a true soldier of God, Princess..." Cedric chuckled before turning his gaze towards the newly named Archangel and leaving Aurelia to admire her new holy blade.
[God's Eye], Cedric activated his skill with Archangel as its target, he was named Ladios, and other than that not much was different.
Except one thing.
<
The name had given Ladios a power boost, minor as it was but still a boost, and yet it did not grant him a new class.
It worked more as a buff than an actual level.
It was incredibly interesting. If he had named him, would the power be much greater, or would it be the same? He did not know. If 100 was a maximum, perhaps the +1 merely meant that once he ascended to the high class, he would start at Level 2 instead.
However, at the current moment, it did not matter.
He was glad that more information about God's blessing was uncovered, 'I must remember to thank the Lord in my next prayer.'
It was only due to His grace that the information revealed itself.
His gaze once again fell on Aurelia, her hands caressing the blade gently while she sneaked an occasional glance at Cedric.
'Lust is clearly the most prevalent sin she has.' Cedric sighed.
"Aurelia, when are you returning to Valar?" Cedric needed to know. If he had some time, perhaps he could distribute more Bibles to willing soldiers and summon more Angels who could be stationed as guardians or sent to attack demon territory.
He was curious about what Seraphim would look like, but summoning ultimate Angels for no reason other than curiosity would be blasphemy of the highest order. He would only summon "Lesser" Angels unless God's Mission could greatly benefit from using Seraphim.
It took a moment of thinking before Aurelia answered, "Due to that elemental attack we were delayed, so we should be moving out in two days."
'Two days, If God allows it should be enough time.' Cedric nodded, two days would be enough for him to create a large army of Guardian Angels that he could station in the town as guards and send a dozen or so to wreak havoc in demon territory.
"Lucious, Rayn, and Ladios I expect you to protect Aurelia and make sure no harm comes to her, I don't need to say what will happen if you fail?" Cedric threatened, after all, Aurelia was a student of God now, Cedric would swear his name that no harm would come to her.
His words made purified angels stiffen in fear a cold dread creeping under their skin, but for Ladios, the threat was nothing but an order from its creator, an order Archangel would fulfill even if it meant his end.
Cedric was about to turn and leave before he felt a gentle grip on his hand. "Sir, Cedric couldn't you stay for just a little longer?" Aurelia looked at Cedric with sheepish eyes.
"You should rest, princess. My presence is not necessary." Cedric retorted coldly.
Aurelia sighed for a moment before gathering her courage and speaking "I would like to learn more right now!"
Her words caught Cedric's attention instantly.
Angel Army project he had in mind could wait, to teach a pagan the glory of God was an honor among honors, especially a pagan so willing to learn.
It would be blasphemous to refuse.
"I cannot say no to that, well let's study the bible together, Aurelia." Cedric smiled under his helmet.
Aurelia looked at Cedric with wide eyes as she did not expect Cedric to fulfill her wish.
"Yes!" Aurelia shouted loud enough that it could be heard far outside the inn, startling even Cedric.
