Ariel did not expect Vanj to be so gullible, her defending him made him trust her already, a terrible mistake but how could anyone expect better from a demon?
Demons were to not be given mercy, and she had plans to make this entire city destroy itself without her even using a single destructive skill.
No entire empire would suffer if she was successful.
While evaporating the nests was easy, it was not as fun as making demons kill each other.
'Little demons, trying to be smart next to me ~ Not realizing they are playing right into my hands.' She giggled as she dragged another corpse.
Vanj looked at her with a spark of admiration, almost as if he had found a rare pet that should be cherished.
Most angels wouldn't tolerate being treated like this, but to her, it did not matter. All was a means to an end.
Despite her childish demeanor, she was not incapable of planning and scheming, especially if it provided more fun.
As long as she hadn't targeted humans nobody would mind it, right?
She dragged the final corpse to the pile before turning to Vanj, "All done master~"
"Good job Lana, time for my part of disposal." He patted his new slave before he used [Sinkhole], he opened the ground beneath the pile of corpses, burying them deep underground.
"Woooow, Master can control Earth?!" Lana exclaimed with astonishment.
Vanj couldn't help but feel pride.
"Yep, I am one of the more powerful Arcanists with specialization on earth!" He spoke with pride.
Lana couldn't help but clap, "Master is the best ~"
'She is adorable...' Vanj truly didn't want to sell her anymore, she could be his, she could be a member of his harem.
Perhaps she could become something more than a mere slave.
He thought about it before remembering that the girl was looking for help for her sick mother.
"Lana, would you like to visit your mom?" Vanj asked, if he was careful he could allow her to see her for one last time.
The girl shook her head,"She is dead by now master. There is no need~"
"I see." He sighed, he felt a tinge of guilt, something that his line of work should never experience.
Vanj approached now empty cages, they all had signs of damage but fortunately locking mechanisms worked, possibly damage inflicted by lizardman.
If Lana was able to fill at least half of these cages he would possibly be able to keep her for himself, these new ones would be untrained and so very cheap, even if they were young harpy women.
If it wasn't for Lana he would have been killed by the boss instantly without even being given a chance, however, she behaved as if she had been trained for years and defended him.
"Lana, the moment sun falls I want you to go out and gather any vulnerable girls, or even pretty boys could be sold on auctions, we have no luxury to choose. If you can catch harpies like you, then I might be able to keep you." Vanj spoke casually.
"Got it, master!~" Lana jumped up while saluting.
Once again he wished to have a taste of such well well-behaved slave, and yet he had to work hard to restrain himself.

Ariel hummed as she stretched her slave collar.
'Let's see which unfortunate demons do I give to that fool... hmmm.' She roamed the streets without a care in the world, after all, she planned to use [Command] to trap the demons.
She passed through the bustling demon next, Harpies, Lizardmen, Minotaurs even some Sirens.
Ariel would make sure they all were sent to hell eventually, however she had to decide which ones to make suffer right now.
It took a moment of searching before her gaze fell on a group of young harpy women, at least 6 young and relatively beautiful harpies, their wings adorned with jewelry and they all wore expensive dresses.
'Usually, in a group, it would be difficult to isolate a single one, however, that's not a problem for me ~' Ariel slowly walked towards the group.
'Hmm, that moron asked for as many young harpy girls as possible.' Ariel smiled as she approached a group of what looked like young adult harpies, casually eating pieces of meat stacked on a stick.
Ariel tugged onto a dress of the youngest-looking harpy, "Could you please help me~"
They looked at each other for a moment before looking down at the harpy child, to them she was rather well dressed, despite the collar which many would consider odd.
She didn't look like many of the urchins many would stay clear of her.
The girl she tugged on knelt down before patting her head. "Of course, we can help. Right girls?" Harpy turned to others before she received affirmative answers. "Sure. Why not. I don't see an issue."
'Stupid... This is why you are fallen angels.' Ariel couldn't help but pity these women.
"Please follow me ~," She grabbed the hand of the girl as she lead them into a secluded corner.
They grew more and more suspicious.
"Are you sure this is the right way? Are you lost?" They asked.
"This is good enough." Ariel smiled as she activated [Command].
"Follow me girlies~" She leads them towards the storeroom.
As they approached she used [Divine Word: Sleep] and forced them to fall into deep slumber.
"Master~ I have some slaves for you~" Ariel called.
"Already?!" Vanj opened the door, and in front of him, he found 7 unconscious girls, exclusively young harpies.
'HOW DID SHE MANAGE THIS?! She is a damn natural!' Vanj smiled, Lana wasn't kidding when she said that she could get him slaves.
He didn't even question her methods as they all seemed knocked out.
"Let us put them in the cages and you can probably bring even more. We will have at maximum of a couple of days before their families notice their disappearance."
"Sure thing master~"
Tormenting demons without killing them quickly brought a lot of joy to her, they were vile creatures that deserved no mercy, no consideration.
After all, they were enemies of Father.
