A low growl reverberated through the entire banquet, causing everyone's hairs to stand on end and their third eyes opened wide and glowed brightly like they were about to explode.
No one knew the source of the beastly growl but some of the guests would be on their tip toes, their backs drenched in sweat and holding their breaths as best they could. It was the reaction of humans who were under a great threat, stay put, don't breathe and don't move till the threat walks. As more time passed, more guests were drenched in their own sweat from fear stimuli.
