"It's over, it's all over! How come this month's test is so hard! Who on earth came up with the last two math problems? I didn't write anything at all!"
Zheng Fa looked at his book, listening to Wang Chen at the desk behind him clutching his head and wailing.
He glanced around the classroom. The atmosphere was somewhat downcast after the monthly exam; many faces looked unhappy, as if they all felt they hadn't done well.
"Zheng Fa, how did you do on the test?" Wang Chen poked Zheng Fa's arm and asked.
"I don't know, I didn't check the answers."
Not checking the answers post-exam was a habit of Zheng Fa's.
But he felt that he probably did quite well.
The test was a bit difficult, but he felt he did better than before—in part because, after being tutored by Old Man Bai and Tang Lingwu, he found the math paper that left Wang Chen in agony to be of moderate difficulty.
He even had time to check his answers twice.
