"Emily, where's the card?"
Evelyn Hanson nudged Emily Parker, hinting for her to bring out the bank card Carlos had given her.
"It's in the car."
Emily Parker patted her eco-friendly bag.
Evelyn Hanson clenched her teeth, deciding that she could go without buying clothes or dining out this month. Just as she was about to reach for her own card, Emily Parker stopped her hand.
"What's wrong?
Ran out of money, have you?
If you have no money, you shouldn't be shopping at such high-end department stores."
Sophie Parker sneered.
"Emily Parker, cut it out. These clothes, they're not suiting for you."
Adam Willow looked away from Emily Parker. He thought that with Emily working at the hospital every day, she really didn't need to buy such flashy clothes. It was just too ostentatious.
A skirt for 11,000?
Adam Willow calculated; that amount could cover a year's worth of clothing for his mother and sister.
