After she had taken Tobi for ice cream, Rose sat Tobi on the bed and asked him,
"Honey, why are you like this? You have been so down ever since I picked you up from school," Rose asked, rubbing Tobi's hair.
Tobi looked at her with small eyes as if thinking of what to say.
"It's... Mummy, I want a daddy. Do I have a father?" Tobi asked, playing with his small little finger as if he wanted to take back his words.
Rose's heart stopped, like it would leap out of her chest the moment she heard his words.
