Logan's fingertips paused for a moment before he suddenly curled his lips into a smirk. "Wait here for me."
With that, he got out of the car and walked back into the bar. Two minutes later, he returned, holding a bottle of soda. "Mrs. Reid, do you want a drink?"
Selina looked at him, puzzled. "I'm not thirsty."
She didn't even like soda. What was he up to?
Logan casually played with the bottle in his hand, his tone light and easy. "I smelled a hint of acidity in the air. Soda helps neutralize acid. It seems like the perfect drink for you right now."
Selina: "…"
Her cheeks turned slightly red, and she felt an inexplicable sense of embarrassment. Annoyed, she slammed the car door shut.
Who cared about acidity? He could drink it himself!
Back at Sapphire Valley Villa, Selina didn't give him a chance to speak and bolted upstairs. A while later, she came back down, holding a bottle of red wine and two glasses.
Logan raised an eyebrow.
