"I—I didn't see their faces clearly," Scott admitted, his voice wavering. "They are magical beings… illusions shroud them."
"Anything that could give away their identity?" Gerald asked, his tone sharp.
Scott swallowed hard. "They were cloaked, Your Highness," he said, his hands trembling at his sides. The crown prince's bloodlust was suffocating.
Cristiano's gaze was fierce. "Normal fae cannot wield such powerful magic," he said coldly. "Was one of them a sorcerer?"
"Certainly, Your Highness," Scott replied carefully. "A large population of sorcerers resides within the Fae Kingdom."
