Apparently, the female knights were merely practicing like they usually do, until all of a sudden, the male knights wanted them gone. When asked why, they said they weren't real knights, since they were never knighted by the Emperor who they are loyal to. Even if the female knights argued that they were already knighted by the King of Rovamer, it all feel into deaf ears, for the knights solely believed one was only considered a knight if they were knighted by the one they sore fealty to. And the last time they checked, their Emperor never knighted anyone, not even their so-called Commander.
They were as good as useless.
That being said, the male knights claimed the ladies were nothing than ladies in waiting, and now that their 'Commander' was now a 'Consort', they were her ladies in waiting, just with good martial arts skills.
