Sophia's Point Of View
My heart pounded as my driver pulled up in front of Starlight Studios.
I didn't even wait for the car to stop completely before I flung the door open and rushed out. My heels clicked sharply against the pavement as I practically ran into the building, ignoring the curious glances from employees who were still working late.
I knew what they were thinking.
I never ran.
I never looked this panicked.
But tonight, everything was different.
I pressed the elevator button furiously, tapping my foot impatiently as the numbers counted up. The moment the doors slid open, I stepped inside and stabbed the button for Sebastian's floor, my hands shaking.
I needed to fix this.
I needed to make him listen.
The ride up felt like a century.
As soon as the doors opened, I stepped out, my breath coming in short, panicked gasps.
Then I froze.
The hallway was eerily silent. Too silent.
Something felt… wrong.
