As Greg and Cammy passed Pearl Resort's booth, Ellie gave Cammy a small wave. Cammy returned the gesture with a subtle nod, her expression softening briefly before continuing on.
Once they were far enough from the crowd, Cammy suddenly pulled Greg into a quiet corner. Setting the plate she was holding on the edge of a nearby plant box, she couldn't hold it in any longer and broke down in tears.
She had tried so hard not to cry in front of him, but the weight in her heart was unbearable. She needed to let it all out before she could face Dylan again.
