"You're actually just here because you have no choice. The contract has been signed and there's no need going back. However, you must not expect me to love you, Carlos Bill does not love anyone..."
His eyes were so cold that the small petite girl shivered under the weight of his heavy aura.
"The day you demand for my love, that day will be the last for our relationship! I hope I've made myself clear?"
Anna nodded as she gulped.
He smiled and slowly pulled her in for a hug.

Sheltered and cared for, Annabel Liam, twenty years old, diagnosed to have the very same illness that had been the cause of her father's death, she lived a carefree life, working in a hospital as a cleaner.

Anna exhales, "since it's my first time, I'll just take it as my first kiss." 


Carlos and Anna was very close that their body touched against each other. Anna immediately leaned in, her face drawing closer and closer. Her heart beat pounding fiercely within her ribcage as if threatening to jump away.


Suddenly, Anna paused and withdraw and Carlos face squeezed in dissatisfaction. He was actually anticipating her kiss. He wanted to know how sweet she tasted, he wanted to see if she's just like other ladies or if she's different. 


Chapter 8 - Stalemate
