Again Raymond leaned against the dresser, watching as Valentina adjusted the cuff of her blazer. His arms were crossed, his expression calm but firm.
"You shouldn't worry," he assured her again. "I trust you when it comes to management. You're going to do a great job."
Valentina sighed, shaking her head slightly.
"It's not about doing a good job, Raymond. It's about proving myself. I don't want them thinking I'm just here because of my last name or connections."
At that moment Raymond tilted his head, a small smirk playing on his lips.
"And if anyone tries to misbehave, you know what to do. Report them to me immediately. I'll come and talk some sense into them."
Valentina turned to him, arching a brow.
"Talk sense into them?" She scoffed, crossing her arms.
"You mean like the last time when 'talking sense' involved a punch?"
Raymond gave an innocent shrug. "It worked, didn't it?"
Valentina laughed, shaking her head.
