Chapter 154 - Chapter 154

Their married life was blissful.

This happiness was entirely created by Bardi and was not much different from his past life with Sophia.

But that wasn't what Raven wanted.

She needed Bardi to feel an overwhelming sense of joy, so intense that he would desire to break free from this spiritual world and return to reality.

Clearly, with her lack of social experience, achieving this was proving to be difficult.

"I have no idea how to make Bardi happier."

Other than their wedding day, when his happiness had surged dramatically, the rest of the time, his happiness increased only gradually. And even then, it was entirely self-generated.

He loved and cherished Raven deeply.

He took the initiative in housework, cooked their meals, and cared for her despite his exhausting work and responsibilities. All of this love and devotion came from him alone, and Raven found it hard to intervene.

But love isn't something that can be sustained by only one person giving endlessly.

There has to be a response. A return.

Even children, despite receiving unconditional love from their parents, eventually desire to give back in their own way. That emotional exchange makes it feel natural, even if people assume parental love is selfless.

But in truth—it's not.

"I have to do something. I need to drastically increase Bardi's happiness!"

Raven bit her dark-purple lower lip, her delicate brows furrowing in frustration.

Two months passed.

Bardi's happiness continued to rise, but at such a slow pace that Raven saw no hope of breaking through the spiritual world.

It wasn't enough.

And to be honest, she still didn't know how to increase it.

The only time his happiness had spiked dramatically was.

Their wedding.

And then… the wedding night.

As soon as Raven thought of it, her face flushed.

But she forced herself to analyze it.

She needed to find the key to Bardi's happiness.

She vaguely remembered that night… When she and Bardi consummated their marriage, she had bled. It was her first time, and because she had replaced Sophia in this world, she had lost her usual magic and demonic traits. She had become just an ordinary mortal.

And Bardi…

When he saw the blood, he seemed to be unusually happy.

Suddenly—

Raven's eyes widened in realization.

She froze, her expression turning serious.

"It's blood."

"Bardi must like to see blood."

Raven inhaled sharply.

That was… a very strange hobby.

But Bardi wasn't an evil person.

It had to be something else.

Maybe it was related to the blood of Trigon, her demonic heritage since her blood was red in this world. Perhaps it triggered something within Bardi's subconscious.

Her expression softened slightly.

Bardi wasn't a monster.

She must be overlooking something.

But regardless.

If she wanted to increase Bardi's happiness, she had to try.

"Let's test it."

She grabbed a bowl from the kitchen.

Then, she took a fruit knife and pressed it against her wrist.

Bright red blood spurted out immediately, spilling into the bowl.

Raven clenched her jaw, her pale face twitching slightly from the pain.

When she saw that there was enough blood, she exhaled, nodding weakly.

"That should do it."

Instinctively, she reached for her magic.

Then, suddenly—

The world spun.

Everything darkened.

Her vision blurred.

Then—total blackness.

With a dull thud, she collapsed to the floor.

The experiment had failed.

Not only had Bardi's happiness not increased, but it had dropped significantly.

Afterward, he even suspected that he had failed as a husband, that he had neglected Raven so badly that she had tried to take her own life.

Especially when she woke up in the hospital.

He sat beside her, staring at her with deep concern.

Then, with complete seriousness, he asked:

"Are you happy?"

The thought that Raven had developed some kind of mental illness because of their marriage shook him to the core.

For her part, Raven realized she had made a huge mistake.

It turned out—

The reason Bardi's happiness had increased so much…

Was simply because it was her first time.

Raven was stunned.

"How was I supposed to know that a man's happiness would increase because of that?!"

As for how she figured it out.

Well…

After failing the bloodletting experiment, she had tried to rethink her approach. She wondered if perhaps the reason was that the blood needed to come from a more intimate moment.

So she tested the theory.

And that was how the whole bloodstained bedsheets incident happened.

Which left Bardi absolutely speechless.

Bardi was beginning to suspect that he had married a mentally unstable wife.

But instead of making him resent Raven, it only made him feel even more sorry for her.

Raven knew this wouldn't do.

If she continued to cause Bardi worry, his happiness would drop. If it dropped too much, he would spiral back into despair.

He had to remain happy and content.

So, one night before bed, she kindly offered to give Bardi a massage… and accidentally broke one of his bones.

After rushing him to the hospital, his happiness level plummeted again.

Even though Raven had lost her supernatural powers in this world, she was still exceptionally strong. The fact that she hadn't completely crushed Bardi was, in her mind, proof of how much she loved him.

But this setback did nothing to shake her resolve.

In fact, it only made her more determined.

No matter how many obstacles she faced, she would not give up.

She would save Bardi.

Then came a series of mishaps:

—She fried an egg with too much force, and it somehow stuck to the ceiling.

—She gripped the pan too tightly and snapped the handle off.

—She caused a gas explosion, leaving the entire kitchen charred black.

—She tried knitting a sweater and ended up with a bizarre, six-sleeved monstrosity.

—She planned a romantic candlelit dinner for Bardi's birthday… and accidentally set the house on fire.

In the end, there was no way to salvage the situation, so they just took pictures in front of the flames. Strangely, their bond deepened because of all these disasters.

Despite everything, Raven never stopped trying.

She poured all her energy and creativity into making Bardi happy.

But eventually, she hit a wall.

She was running out of ideas.

So, she turned on her computer, opened a search engine, and sought outside wisdom.

"How do I make my husband happy?"

She hit enter.

Sitting cross-legged in her computer chair, her slender legs wrapped in white stockings, she bit into a piece of chocolate. Her small tongue flicked out to catch the crumbs at the corner of her mouth as she stared intently at the screen.

A flood of results appeared.

"70 Ways to Make Your Husband Happy!"

"70 Ways to Coax Your Husband!"

"70 Ways to Bring Your Husband Ultimate Happiness!"

Raven's eyes widened.

"Seventy? There are seventy ways to make Bardi happy?!"

The world was truly full of amazing people.

Eagerly, she clicked on "70 Ways to Make Your Husband Happy!"

The first suggestion: Play games with him.

The second suggestion: 69.

Raven scrolled down—

And that was it.

Nothing else.

Her heart itched with frustration.

She scratched her head, then slammed the half-eaten chocolate onto the table. Her appetite vanished.

"Where are the other 69 methods?!"

Desperate, she opened the next guide.

Same result.

All of them only listed two suggestions, the second being the number 69.

"These people are shameless!"

Raven huffed in frustration.

"Fine! I'll just try the first method!"

Determined, she searched for the most popular game at the time and downloaded League of Legends.

Dragging Bardi to play with her, she quickly realized that this method was actually working.

His happiness level was steadily increasing.

And the happier Bardi became, the happier Raven felt.

So, playing together became part of their daily routine.

Then something unexpected happened.

Raven, who had no previous gaming experience turned out to be ridiculously good.

She climbed the ranks at an absurd speed, becoming one of the strongest players in the game.

Her entire playstyle revolved around one thing—protecting Bardi at all costs.

No matter how badly Bardi played, no matter how many times he was eliminated, Raven always found a way to rescue him.

If someone killed Bardi?

She hunted them down and made them regret it.

Her only mission in the game was to shield and avenge Bardi, and she did it with terrifying efficiency.

Bardi was touched beyond words.

Of course, he wasn't a bad player himself.

But compared to Raven who had somehow become a god-tier player there was simply no competition.

Before long, Raven received an invitation to join a professional esports club.

Seeing how excited Bardi was and how much his happiness level had improved, Raven immediately accepted.

As long as Bardi's happiness kept rising, nothing else mattered.

And so, with Bardi's unwavering support, Raven continued her chaotic journey.

She fought her way to the very top of the competitive gaming world.

Standing beside her were four equally adorable, highly skilled teammates—her loyal Queen Squad.

In time, she became a living legend.

During a global esports tournament.

The stadium erupted as the announcer roared:

"Everyone, give it up for the world's strongest warrior—the Queen of Slaughter, the Mistress of Domination!"

"No male player can stand against her! She is the unrivaled champion of League of Legends!"

"Leading the 'Happy Husband' team to global fame, she obliterates every challenger in her path!"

"She is the greatest LOL player of all time—RAVEN!"

The crowd erupted in deafening cheers.

Tears welled up in Raven's eyes as she held the championship trophy high.

Down below, Bardi was waving tiny flags, cheering for her with all his might.

In that moment, Raven's happiness soared higher than ever before.

She had never felt so fulfilled.

Her heart swelled with emotion.

And all because of one of the 70 Methods to Make Your Husband Happy.

Playing games together actually worked.
