Jiang Yuxi's POV
Han Li tugs open my hoodie, the fabric sliding off my shoulders, exposing my bare skin to the cool air inside the car.
Her breath catches.
"Dammit."
She runs a frustrated hand through her hair, her jaw clenching for a moment before she exhales sharply and leans back into her seat.
I sit up, confused.
Wasn't she just—?
>"Come here, beautiful."
Her voice is lower, rougher, filled with something dark and unspoken. She tilts her seat back slightly, parting her legs just enough to make space for me.
I don't hesitate.
I move over, straddling her thighs, my knees sinking into the soft leather as I settle into her lap.
Han Li's hands come up to my waist, warm and firm, grounding me.
Then—
She unzips my hoodie completely, letting the fabric slide off my arms until it pools somewhere behind me.
She doesn't touch me yet.
She just stares.
Her eyes are dark, smoldering, reverent.

I arch an eyebrow, amused.
