Lyara woke up to find herself lying on a soft bed. Her entire body ached, and her head pounded.
What on earth just happened?
She had no recollection of the events that had ended her up in this situation. The last thing she could remember was that she was about to be swallowed by the roaring flames of the Dragon King.
So how had she ended up in a bedroom?
Slowly, she raised herself to a seated position and looked around the dark room.
The location was unfamiliar to her.
It was only when she noticed a figure sitting on a chair in the corner of the room that she realised what had happened.
The figure was dark enough to blend in with the shadows, and their face was unable to be seen.
Yet still, Yuki knew who it was. She had heard whispers of this ability before.
"That man was about to murder you. Burn you to ashes. Be thankful for my mercy."
Yuki hardly noticed, but she was holding a deep breath, which she struggled to let out.
