Chapter 93 - Ch-93

When Lugia looked at Ash and acknowledged him as a Sea Warrior, audiences worldwide were stunned.

"What?? That little brat has a new title again??"

Team Rocket Executive Ariana stared at the scene in disbelief.

"This is just too far-fetched. First the Rainbow Hero, and now the Sea Hero? The two guardian Pokémon of the Johto Region both recognized Ash?"

Team Rocket Executive Archer was equally dumbfounded.

"Who on earth is this kid? How does he keep earning the favor of legendary Pokémon? It's unbelievable!"

At the Palace Gate Stadium's Champion Guest Seat:

"This... this... Ash is also an excellent Sea Hero?"

Uncle Alder was utterly shocked.

"On land, he's the Rainbow Hero recognized by Ho-Oh, and now on the sea, he's the Sea Hero recognized by Lugia? Oh my Arceus!!"

Diantha sat in astonishment.

"How can someone have so many titles?"

"Champion Trainer? Sure, that's achievable. But being recognized by two legendary Pokémon, Ho-Oh and Lugia, at the same time? That's beyond incredible!" Cynthia exclaimed, wide-eyed.

"Mysterious, truly mysterious," Dodo added, his disbelief evident.

"Sea Hero... Ash, you are just amazing," Wallace said, acknowledging Ash's strength.

"If Ash is the Sea Hero, then the Orange Islands will be saved," declared President Damaranch, his eyes brimming with hope.

The champion trainers and Damaranch, the president of the Pokémon Alliance, placed their trust in Ash.

The Prophecy of Shamouti Island:

[There was once a prophecy on Shamouti Island in the Orange Islands.]

When someone covets the guardians of the Orange Islands, causing them to fall into chaos and bring natural disasters, the Saint of Asia Island will recommend the "Sea Hero" from legend.

The Sea Hero must retrieve three treasures from the islands of the Divine Birds and bring them back to the temple on Shamouti Island, guarded by Slowking.

The Saint would then play the ceremonial melody—the Song of Lugia—to calm all conflicts.

This time, the Saint was a girl named Furula. She had played the Lugia Song earlier, reviving Lugia's power.

Lugia informed Furula that the flute alone could not quell the chaos. It then turned to Ash, the Sea Hero, and asked him to journey to Ice Island to retrieve the final treasure.

"Alright, we'll do it!"

Ash, despite being young, showed remarkable courage and accepted Lugia's proposal. Together with Pikachu, he rushed to Ice Island to retrieve the final treasure.

But their path was blocked by the three Sacred Birds.

Lugia stepped in to protect Ash, while Ash summoned Squirtle, Charizard, and Pikachu to pull his sled across Ice Island, racing toward the treasure's location.

Audience Reactions:

"So intense! Can Ash do it?"

"Of course! We have to believe in him!"

"He's the youngest Champion Trainer in history and the chosen hero of Lugia and Ho-Oh. He's got this!"

The Scene Continues:

On Ice Island:

Under Lugia's cover, Ash managed to retrieve the treasure. However, their sled was destroyed by Zapdos's Thunderbolt.

Stranded and unable to return to Shamouti Island, Ash's hopes seemed dim.

At the critical moment, Team Rocket's iconic trio arrived in a makeshift speedboat built from scrap helicopter parts.

Despite their usual villainous motives, the trio teamed up with Ash, hoping to salvage their reputation by saving the world.

At Team Rocket's Hideout:

Seeing this, Ariana was furious.

"What are those three idiots doing? We're Team Rocket! Our goal is world domination, not saving it! Boss Giovanni, I suggest we bring them back immediately and punish them!"

Archer chuckled to himself.

"Those fools may be annoying, but at least they aren't my subordinates," he thought smugly.

Giovanni, however, remained calm and said, "No, leave them be."

"But why, Boss?" Ariana protested.

"Gilluta's actions threaten to destroy the Orange Islands, which house several of our bases. If the islands sink, we'll face significant economic losses. Worse, if Gilluta captures Lugia, it could hinder our plans for world domination.

"Right now, the trio's actions are actually beneficial to us. Let them assist Ash. For now, they're more useful alive than punished."

Though reluctant, Ariana complied with Giovanni's orders.

Back in the Video:

Ash's Return:

With Team Rocket's help, Ash retrieved the Ice Island treasure and attempted to leave. Unfortunately, Zapdos appeared again and destroyed their speedboat with Thunderbolt.

To make matters worse, Articuno was gravely injured by Zapdos and Moltres.

Lugia arrived just in time, saving Ash, Pikachu, and the Rocket trio.

Realizing they were only holding Ash back, Team Rocket's trio made the ultimate sacrifice—they jumped into the sea to allow Ash to continue.

Audience Reactions:

The crowd was moved to tears.

"Team Rocket... they actually sacrificed themselves?"

"They're supposed to be evil! But now... they're heroes!"

"They helped Ash save the world and then gave up their own chance to escape? This is so emotional!"

At the Pokémon League:

Even Damaranch and the champion trainers were stunned.

"I never thought I'd see the day when Team Rocket would do something so selfless," Alder said.

"They're brave, kind, and unexpectedly... heroic," Diantha admitted.

The trio's actions left a lasting impression on everyone, proving that even the most notorious villains could have a change of heart.
