Tina's face was grim. She gritted her teeth and said, "His acting was really good. He was delivering food all night before. Isn't that unfair to him?"
"I don't know if he felt wronged or not. All I know is that Brother Ryan has always told me to keep a low profile."
Lyla brushed her hair back and said lightly, "You weren't interested in him anyway. If you change your mind now because of his money, I'm afraid he'll look down on you even more."
"Impossible!"
Tina said stubbornly, "He's been pursuing me for three years. How could he just give up like that?"
"Pursuing? He's been your bootlicker for three years. Those three years must have completely crushed his hopes."
Lyla looked at her with a playful expression and said, "You know, Yana and I have a pretty good relationship. Guess why."
