Watching everyone in the group chat discussing the new member, Gary was filled with confusion.
What was going on?
Why did it seem like he was the only one left out?

Wasn't this supposed to be a Mega Stone?
Reading Mewtwo's thoughts from its expression, Asahi explained.
"Mega Evolution isn't like regular evolution. A Mega Stone alone isn't enough—you also need a trainer's power."
As he spoke, Asahi lifted his wrist, revealing his Keystone.
The moment the Keystone was exposed, the Mega Stones in Mewtwo's hands began to glow.

Mewtwo hesitated. Wasn't it already Asahi's…?
It turned to look at Mew Mama for confirmation.

Feeling powerless to correct Mewtwo's misguided concept, Mew's tail drooped. The future seemed bleak.
But it fully supported Asahi's decision to capture Mewtwo.
During the battle on New Island, Mewtwo had almost been captured by Rocket Team twice. Staying out in the open was dangerous.
And so, trusting Mew Mama and Asahi, Mewtwo reached out—
With a flash of light, it was absorbed into the Master Ball.
With a soft thud, Asahi successfully captured Mewtwo.
