"Did I really hurt you that much?" Vincent asked, with a voice that could send Hitler back to the womb. He looked at Jae Won as if his life depended on him.
Jae Won watched Vincent's reaction and had all thoughts in his head. The worried on his face seems like someone who is having love troubles and even Akwasi noticed.
Vincent turned to look at Akwasi for verification if he wants to share a room with Jae Won and Akwasi knew what that looks meant "oh I asked him to help me with a few things so…" he paused as he couldn't even tell the lie properly.
Vincent on the other hand knew he was telling a lie but he ignored him and not put too much thought into it. Is his fault Jae Won doesn't want to sleep with him. He watched them left as they entered Akwasi's room. Vincent stood there for a while before he entered his room.
On the other hand, Akwasi quickly pulled Jae Won into the room before Jae Won could think of what was happening "why are you doing this? He looked really disturbed" Akwasi asked hoping to get some explanation from Jae Won.
Jae Won sighed as he strode over to the bed and sat comfortably "it's nothing, just checking some things out, I'm not sure if…." ha paused 'likes me too' he completed his sentence in his head.
"You two are something, you are behaving like lovers" he said as he hurriedly entered the washroom to go take his shower before they slept so as Jae Won did after Akwasi.
Vincent who doesn't like alcohol definitely felt like taking in alcohol. He walked down the living room and took a bottle of wine their company had made and sat on the couch and place the whole bottle on the coffee table with a wine glass.
He took a few sips, his mind wandering off to God knows where "something must be really wrong with you" said by the voice thy appeared no where scaring the hell out of Vincent and pulling him back from his trance.
"Shit" he swore as he turned to look at the person who scared him out only to be met with Mr Jonathan, his father "sorry, I said a bad word".
"But daddy, you scared the hell out me" he said as he took in a sip while he lowered his head like a scolded kid.
"Son, what's wrong? You don't look too good" he asked while he went to sat down beside him. "Are you having love problems" the moment the sentence came out of his mouth, Vincent turned to look at father and without hesitation he replied "dad, hell no. I don't even have a girlfriend to even have love problem.
Mr Jonathan laughed out hard so hard he almost fell off the couch. "Son, you don't always have to have a girlfriend before you get love problems. You can even have it before you get one to begin with. And you looked like someone who is having a love problem" he said.
But Vincent didn't want to be misunderstood so he clarified himself before it got worse. "It's just Jae Won" he said as he took another sip of the wine.
Mr Jonathan couldn't possibly understand why because of Jae Won, Vincent would go ahead and take an alcohol to the extent of looking like a devastated lover. "And what about him" Mr Jonathan asked.
"I said something bad to him… I didn't mean it but it happened and now he is ignoring me" Vincent said. Mr Jonathan sat there for a while "I've tried every possible means to apologize but it seems it's not working. He is still angry with me".
"You just have to try every single time before he calms down if you truly believe you didn't mean to hurt him" Mr Jonathan said.
They sat there for a while and they had something different to say. This made Vincent forgot about Jae Won for that few minutes they were talking. They left to sleep after it was getting late but Mr Jonathan didn't forget to advice his son one last time about love.
"You know son, love comes from different directions and in different ways. Sometimes the love that mankind expects and dream of is not what or how it happens" he said as he stood up to go up to his room "good night son". After a while Vincent left after thinking about what his father said but still had no idea what he was talking about.
Two days has passed and Jae Won still has been ignoring Vincent especially when they are alone. Now Vincent feels like giving up but he doesn't want to. His mind wants to but his heart isn't.
Akwasi and Jae Won decided to take an evening stroll after dinner. For the past two days, Jae has been sticking to Akwasi so much he couldn't text his mystery lover. Now he wants to solve the issue between him and Vincent.
The most annoying part for him is how he kept asking about Vincent likes and dislikes. The food he likes to eat, music, and everything about him.
In about an hour after they left to take the evening stroll, they arrived with bruises on Jae Won left side of his cheek and a small cut on the lips.
Vincent was already angry about the fact Akwasi had been getting so close to Jae Won and the fact they went to take an evening stroll without him.
He didn't want to get close to them when he realized they've come back but something got his attention.
The cut on Jae Won's lip with a bruise on his cheek got him running towards them with a lot of questions piling up in his head making him lost of words as brushed his soft hand against Jae Won's soft cheeks with the bruise.
"Does it hurt?" He asked, worried and concern drawn on his face. Jae Won shook his head "just a little" he replied looking so cute like a puppy in the eye of Vincent.
He angrily turned to look at Akwasi who is now scared with the look Vincent is giving him "what?" he asked.
He hurriedly walked to Akwasi "what were you doing? Why did you leave him alone for it to get worse. Can you just look after him because that's just a small job and you can't even do it right" he paused while he turned to look at Jae Won flustered face.
He couldn't believe Vincent will burst out in front of his best friend. Jae Won shook his head in disagreement but right now nothing is stopping him. He angrily said all what is bottled up in him for the last few days.
"Can't you just take care of him for me. This small little task and you watched him got beaten up. What were you doing? Why can't you do this little task? I shouldn't have allowed you to go in the first place" he paused as he caught his breath.
Vincent turned to look at Jae Won flustered face and back at Akwasi who is now dumb to even explain to him by what happened actually because of Vincent reactions towards whim. He couldn't believe what he was seeing just because Jae Won got hurt.
"You should have protected him with your li…" Vincent couldn't complete his sentence as he was rudely cut off by Jae Won "he was the one who saved me from those people" he said as to save Akwasi from Vincent's anger that is exploding right now.
Vincent turned to look at both Akwasi and Jae Won at the same time as if he doesn't believe Jae Won.
"What do you mean?" He asked looking like a zombie from all the stress he was going through for the last few days.
"I meant, Akwasi saved me from those people" he repeated but the word saved immediately pass through the other ear as soon as they entered "how many people are you talking about?" He curiously asked instead of thank the person who saved him.
"They were three guys an….." but he was cut off by Vincent "let me go take care of them" he said as he began to walked up to the main gate but his wrist was held by Jae Won.
"No need, Akwasi took care of them and besides they would be gone by now" he said. Vincent walked up to Akwasi while he lowered his head.
"I'm sorry, i shouldn't have directed my anger and frustration on you. And thank you for saving him" he said but Akwasi has reached his limit of those two guys who want to involved him in their little love fight.
Akwasi angrily storm out of that place before he says things he will regret later.

A few blocks away was some selfish brat who couldn't control her anger "what do you mean one guy beat the crap out of you three" she angrily kicked one guy's leg as he grimaced in pain.
"Madam, we tried to bring him to you but before we could force him, someone came from no where and….you know what happened after that" one guy with a rasta hair complained hoping to score some point.
"So are you three telling me, you can't even capture one guy…"
"You guys are idiot claiming to be a thug" she angrily said pacing here and there.
"Let me think, I shouldn't have hired you guys in the first place" she said.
