Unfortunate events is to share a kiss with someone you like when drunk. Yes it is unfortunate because the other party might not remember or they did kiss you because obviously they were drunk. There is this saying that drunk people always do what they really want to do or always say the truth.
That's is correct, that is to say they get the courage to do what's in their heart or what they really wanted to say but couldn't. And Vincent was no exemptions because he kissed Jae Won back because he really felt Iike kissing him since the first day they met and acted on his desires. Though the alcohol gave him the courage to go for it.
But the next morning Vincent woke up, he had no memories of his passionate kiss with the one lying in his chest, with his arms wrapped around him like a new born baby who is being breastfed.
He tried to remember what exactly happened but all he had was a pounding headache and not even 000.00001 percent memory of the night before. Jae won on the other hand, remembered every little detail from the conversation to the kissing and when he was almost helped by Vincent to relief of his horny property.
As he sleeps beside Vincent, all his dreams were about Vincent and him having fun as lovers should. The feeling of being loved by someone you loved is everyone's dreams and this was what he was experiencing in his dream.
His face was plastered with smiles as he giggles in Vincent's arm not knowing what will be going on in the next few minutes. With Vincent pounding headache, he began to turned around slowly and not wake up Jae Won but it was too late as he was already awake.
The fact that he wakes up in the arms of Vincent was a whole new level. Because that's the first time he had woken up in his arms. It's always he wakes up to an empty bed as Vincent is an early bird.
Jae Won couldn't help but wonder if had woken him up and had to ask. But he was relieved to hear he was already awake. This means, he allowed him to lie in his arms and intentionally didn't wake him up. This takes it to a whole new level.
But his hopes shattered after he was asked what actually happened the night before. But since he heard no response from Jae Won, he turned to look at him only to be met with a confused face "why, did I do something bad for you to look this miserable?" Vincent asked.
Jae Won nodded in denial as they were still no answer, he gave up to go sort out his headache "gosh, that's why I hate drinking. It always leaves you with headache but I guess it was worth it" he said as he stumbled out of bed, Jae Won watched him like a hawk with a mix of emotions swirling within him. He wondered if he should remind Vincent of the kiss but something held him back 'guess this is probably the best thing or else..' his thought ended there as he couldn't bare to complete it.
"Hey Vince, you okay" Jae Won asked trying to sound casual as Vincent was tripping over as if he was still drunk. "I'm okay Jae, I just need a lemon juice and I will feel okay" he said as he rubbed his temples "it's just a headache. I will feel better in no time".
Jae Won rose from the bed and headed straight to the kitchen to prepare the lemon juice for Vincent. There he met Beatrice who had already prepared two glass of lemon juice already.
"How did you know you need to prepare lemon juice?" Jae Won asked looking surprised because no one knew they drank wine yesterday except only the two culprits.
Beatrice gave a warm smile and answered "young master hardly sleeps in and miss breakfasts. It only happens when he is drunk and that is probably like two or three times and he always ask for lemon juice because that always help him with his hangover".
Jae Won was surprised Vincent had been drunk before because he only thought he doesn't drink so how come he got drunk. Jae Won couldn't help but ask "and why was he drunk in the first place?".
Beatrice closed her eyes trying to remember when was that and she opened them when she remembered making Jae Won nervous all of a sudden. "That's probably when he broke up with his girlfriend but the rest, u have no idea what happened" she said.
"Hurry up and take the juice to him or else he might die" she exaggerated making Jae Won striding quickly upstairs. He gave the juice to Vincent who was still in the washroom with his hand still rubbing on his temples.
They finished off their juice, took their shower and came down to have breakfast. After they were done, Jae Won helped pack a few things of Vincent. "So what time will you be leaving?" Jae Won asked still worried about their kiss Vincent had forgotten.
"Around 4 to 5pm greenwhich mean time after all my family are in so they could send me off properly Vincent replied as they sat on the bed to rest. But Jae Won was confuse when Vincent said 'sent me off properly' and had to ask.
"What do you mean?" He finally asked after much thought about it. Vincent smiled as he knew Jae Won would be confused about what he said. "Anytime any of us is leaving the mansion for a while, we come together and pray for them before they leave. We usually do it in the morning but since I woke up late I have to wait for them to come back before I could" Vincent clarified.
"Ahaa, but won't your father come late?" Jae Won asked. "No, when it comes to this, he drops everything to have such moments with his family".
Jae Won nodded in understanding. Every family has one or two things they usually do and it's unique in their own way. He looked around and saw a stain from the wine and couldn't help but remember the kiss again.
Jae Won lost in his thoughts as he recalled how sweet the kiss was and how it felt Vincent wanted him like how he wanted him too. But sadly, he can't remember this passionate kiss only to heaved a huge sigh drawing Vincent attention back to him from his phone.
"What's wrong?" Vincent asked as he ignored the notification coming from his phone nonstop and only staring at Jae Won hoping he could open up to him. But how can he when it s about a kiss he had forgotten.
"It's nothing, it's just how lonely I will feel in this room alone" Jae Won said as he fingers trace all over the bed like a couple who had their first sex in a room and had visited the room again on their anniversary. They can help but recall what happened that day.
"It's nothing. What should we do? We have like three to fours hours before your time is up" Jae Won said. Vincent thought about it for a while and remembered "I've always wanted to watch this movie on Netflix, do you want to watch with me as we wait for the family.
"Sure" said by Jae Won without hesitation. He got to spend movie time with Vincent one last time before he leaves. He wished he could follow to school.
They started watching the movie and when it got to the middle of the movie, Jae Won couldn't help but cry alongside the protagonist. Why is that? That is because the woman the protagonist loves will die any moment now because she had three months to live and the three months had finally arrived.
The protagonist couldn't help but cry every single night every night and not forget to hug her tightly any time they had to sleep because the next morning, she might be gone.
"Wuwuwuw….it's so sad to watch the one you love leave you behind in this lonely world" these are the words of Jae Won after he control his tears. But started again when the protagonist finally realized the woman was gone the next morning.
"Vince, he couldn't even watch her last moment only to wake up to her dead body" he cried so hard Vincent couldn't help but laugh to his reactions. He knew it was sad but thanks to Jae Won he couldn't cry because he looked funny and cute as he watched him do all the job.
"I'm definitely going to miss you too" Vincent said which suddenly cut off Jae Won's cry. Jae Won suddenly stopped crying as he wipe off the incoming snot from his nose.
"I will miss you too. I wish I could go with you" Jae Won blurted out before he realized.
Vincent, "….."
Jae Won, "…..",
'shit I said it loud again' he thought. But Vincent was quiet for a while but finally spoke
"How about we go together today" Vincent asked with seriousness in his face, his tone firm and solemn meaning he was no joking.
Jae Won, "….."
