We all experienced deja vu right. Some says, our past lives lived through that moment so as scientists who had different explanations about deja vu. For me, I'm not sure what to believe so as Vincent.
As he kept tracing the contours of Jae Won's body, he couldn't shake the feelings the familiarity of this. And for a second, he has a spilt image of him kissing somebody "did I kiss somebody?" Vincent asked Jae Won was frozen on the spot.
How is Jae Won going to tell him that somebody is definitely him "uuurm, why do you think you've kissed somebody?" Jae Won asked, his voice sounded nervous so Jae Won moved back a little from Vincent.
"It feels I kissed someone…" Vincent said as he went to sit on the couch and laid on the bed "Uurm, and it feels like it has…" he paused and turned and looked at Jae Won who is nervous as if he was about to be caught for stealing meat in the soup.
"Don't tell me I kissed you" he said Jae Won stumbling on his words "h…how ca…can it be m..me" He said putting Vincent back to thinking mode. "I haven't kissed in a long time and this feeling feel fresh and beside I got drank with you so maybe I did kiss you, did I?" Vincent asked genuinely.
Jae Won is flustered and was frozen at the same time as he did not move an inch from where Vincent left him. He kept wondering if he should tell him the truth or not. But he was pulled from his trance when Vincent rose from the bed and approached Jae Won, he asked "did I kissed you? Tell me the truth".
Vincent voice sounded sincere as he truly wanted to know the truth to the question he had asked. This was a chance to clarify a misunderstanding to him though his tone was inquiring but left a room for honest response.
Jae Won gave up as the look on Vincent face melted his last shred of armor "Uurm yeah you did" he said leaving out the mature content that's not reserved for kids and the fact that he made the first move by kissing him.
Now Vincent looked like a scolded kid as he lowered his head "I'm sorry to kiss you without permission" he said his voice apologetic. "No problem, we were drunk so" Jae Won said as his voice relieved.
"It still matter whether we were drunk or not" he said. But how can it be, when he might remember what really happened later. The fact that he started the kiss and it almost ended up in a hot sexy scene. 'Till he remembers, I'm keeping my mouth shut' Jae Won thought as he went to get some sleep to escape this hellish moment.
Vincent too went to sleep as he slept on the bed gesturing for Jae Won to lay in his arm.
Jae Won, "..."
Vincent chuckled "come her, in my arms" he said his voice soft and gentle like a lover making Jae Won run into his arms without a a thought. They kept talking till they fell asleep.
Three days later, the alarm rang waking Jae Won from his sleep only to realize Vincent was still fast asleep while he laid in his arms. 'What is happening? This is the third time I've woken up in his arms while he is fast asleep' he thought.
Jae Won had always woken up to empty bed for the last three months he had been with Vincent but these few days was different. Whenever Jae Won wakes up around 7 to 8am, Vincent was still asleep, that's what baffled him.
He didn't think much of it the first time but this been the third time he thought of asking but waited till he woke up.
When Vincent finally did, he asked "now you've been waking up late?" while he still slept in his arms. Vincent waited for a few seconds before he replied "I'm not sure. Maybe it's because you laid in my arms".
Jae Won chuckled at his words "don't be silly" he said, his voice betrayed his excitement "I should have let you sleep in my arms if I had known I could sleep like this" Vincent said as he smiled genuinely.
"Today I have to submit some form at the administrative office" Vincent continued "do you want to go with me or you would stay here?. I won't keep long" he said.
Jae Won acted as if he was thinking about it but how is he going to stay in the room by himself without Vincent. That's not happening, he smiled "I'm definitely going with you" Jae Won said as he laid back on the bed and stretched.
Vincent rose from the bed and entered the bathroom to have his shower while Jae Won lay on the bed and fell asleep again. It was obvious waking at that time wasn't Jae Won style.
You will wonder how does he usually wakes up for lectures back at Korea. Nope, he doesn't wake up early since he is a freshman. This has always been the fight between his mother every morning.
Vincent came back from the shower only to find Jae Won sleeping, he shook his head 'of course, how can he not sleep again? I'm not even surprised' he thought.
Vincent wore his casual clothes and went into the kitchen to prepare breakfast. After he had finished, he woke Jae Won up to go have his shower.
They had a hefty breakfast and was ready to go out when Jae Won received a message from Charles. Jae Won immediately remembered he had promised to go on a date with him the last time.
Jae Won sat on the bed as he chatted with Charles
Charles, "I hope you remembered our date?"
Jae Won, " yeah of course"
Charles, "when are you free? Today or tomorrow"
Jae Won, " …. I'm at Vincent's university"
Charles, " huh? Are you going to school?"
Jae Won, "hahahahaha, nope. I came for a visit. Will go back home on next week Monday"
Charles, "what? Then we have to reschedule our date. How are you by the way?"
Jae Won, "I'm okay. Thanks for asking"
Charles, "don't worry…Do you…never mind. Take care and please chat me once a while"
Jae Won, "will sure do. Bye. We are on our way out"
Charles, "okay bye"
As their conversation ended, Jae Won raised his head towards Vincent direction only to be met with a cold stare that sent shivers down his spine "what?" he asked.
"Who were you chatting with and what's with that smile?" Vincent asked, his voice shaky. Jae Won smiled and walked from the bed towards the door but he was stopped as Vincent held his wrist before he could walked past him "who was that?" Vincent asked again.
"Uurm, it's Charles" he finally answered before Vincent let go of his wrist. The look on Vincent's face gave Jae Won hope as it tell how jealous Vincent is but the fact that Vincent hadn't noticed his feelings for Jae Won is heartbreaking.
They finally left the hostel and went straight to the administrative office. Vincent asked Jae Won to wait in the waiting area as he entered in one of the offices while holding a brown envelope.
Jae Won waited for a while and when he was getting bored he took out his phone to play a game Wendell downloaded it on his phone. He took out his AirPods and placed it in his ear to not attract unnecessary attention to himself because of the sounds.
He played for a while and felt a shadow over him so he raised his bed only to find Emelia watching him like a hawk. He smiled at her since they've met before "hey handsome, what are you doing here?" She asked as she went ahead and sat next to Jae Won.
"I'm waiting for Vincent. He entered that office" Jae Won said as he pointed at the office Vincent had entered earlier. "Uh oh, why did you follow him, he is definitely gonna be there for while" Emelia said as her face looked worried genuinely.
"Why is that?" Jae Won asked now worried about what Emelia had said. Emelia laughed at Jae Won expression "don't worry, it's just there are a lot of students waiting in line for their turn. We are submitting our acceptance letter from the company we want to intern at" she said.
Now that Jae Won was calmed, it hits him and now he was curious what company Vincent would be. Is it his father's company or a different one but he was pulled out of his thoughts when Emelia said something "I will be interning at the company Vincent chose".
With a surprised and curious look Jae Won asked "which company is that?". Emelia laughed "he didn't tell you? Then I'm not saying anything. Ask him later" she said. Jae Won looked like an exhausted thief who had managed to run from the police.
One hour later, Vincent came back only to find an empty seat at where he asked Jae Won to wait for him.
He looked around and even walked through the hall if he could find him. He checked the wash room at the administration because the last time Jae Won was no where to be found, he was at the washroom but this time he wasn't.
Vincent took out his phone and called Jae Won
"The number you are calling cannot be reached" said by an automated voice from his phone
"Where did he go again?" Vincent said.
