Breakfast starts the same way all other mealtimes start, with me sitting opposite Nolan, and the rest of the pack spread across the other long wooden tables and benches.
Except this morning, someone has opened one of the large windows on the far side of the room, making it even colder than usual. In a thin gray dress with narrow straps, I'm fighting to hide my shivers.
At least I don't have to worry about my stomach rumbling since Ivy gave me several blueberry muffins to 'test' they tasted okay. She did the same with some bacon and sausage. Before we brought the food out, she wanted me to check the orange juice hadn't spoiled so I had a large glass of that as well.
